This place is a gem, a homey or gemütlich country inn (Gasthof) with many personal touches that make you truly feel like a guest. For example, the expensive medical pillows that conform to the shape of your head, a heated shoe rack to dry damp footwear from hiking or skiing. It has hotel amenities (i.e. daily room cleaning, fresh towels, useful brochures & maps of hiking trails) combined with a separate communal kitchen for preparing meals, making it an excellent choice for families. There was even a sitting room for eating meals and playing games. Breakfast also had a homespun touch. A typical German breakfast consisting of fresh bread rolls, cold cuts, a fresh pot of coffee/tea, homemade jam & honey and eggs made to order was served by the owner, a warm and hospitable Oma. The price which includes breakfast was also unbeatable at 28 Euros p.P. for a family of five.

Great for the family, no extra cost for children. Only adults pay. Short walk to trainstation and shops and restaurants. Owner is very sweet old lady, who don't speek so well english, but enought to manage with her :). Breakfest is so tasty and served with old beaty porcelaine, owner asked our favorite foods to make the breakfest. Modern kitchen for guests to make own food.

Great price-performance ratio. Been there twice, and again at any time. The only drawback, no TV (therefore very good internet), but no matter, you can adjust to it😉 Linda Peter and the 🐩🐩🐩

It was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was great and sufficient. Wishes were fulfilled. The views of the mountains were very beautiful. The hostess was extremely friendly and accommodating. An all around great stay.

So far (April 2019) we have come to Lenggries for the 19th time (including 17 times to the Fellerhof). The warm, family atmosphere and the quiet, cozy house allow city dwellers to really relax!!!! In the morning you will have a very good and varied breakfast, Isabell Seibold has a solution for all questions (and there is WiFi here too). Sleeping in and relaxing is really possible here! We have met many regular guests over the last few years!Thank you, say the Berliners
