Great to see that the new generation has now taken over! Very friendly service, food came very quickly and was very tasty (also a change for vegetarians).10/10 for the entire stay - very nice cabin: quiet, beautifully located

Haha, my worst dining experience ever. I'm a polite person by nature and was spoken to so stupidly by the landlord that I left him standing with the drinks he had poured. He doesn't like Munich, most of the good reviews probably come from people he knows in the local area.Maybe he's just morbidly moody.Believe the bad reviews, there are quite a few who report the same thing. The hut itself isn't particularly inviting, the food seems to be bad and there's something wrong with the innkeepers. If you feel the same way, give him a bad rating so that this doesn't continue.Something like this shouldn't become the norm.Well-intentioned advice:It's better to walk another 20 minutes to Längentalalm, the service there is very friendly and the location is 1000 percent nicer 🤘🏽

I'm actually always critical of bad reviews because sometimes customers can be stressful, but there's nothing positive to say here. I'm an adult and don't have to let a landlady treat me like a toddler. I have rarely experienced something so unfriendly. If you don't feel like dealing with customers: keep your eyes open when choosing a job!Better go one hut further. Even if it's closed, sometimes you're lucky and there are drinks there that you can buy. The view is much nicer there too!

Underground serviceThe two of us arrived with our dogs. It said outside that there was only self-service, so we entered the hut. The innkeeper welcomed us in the most outrageous way and expelled us from the hut because our dogs were inside. We should sit on the terrace. We waited there for about 10 minutes until we were rudely asked to get our drinks ourselves. This lady really seems to have chosen the wrong career path because she definitely shouldn't be working with customers.

The hut is very nice. Unfortunately, the older innkeepers should be treated with caution. Only self-service, but: The landlord reacts grumpily when you want to order something - he doesn't even look at you at the counter. Only if you don't go away will someone notice you at some point. The food is pretty average. At the end, when I wanted to carry the used dishes in and overlooked the designated shelf marked with faded writing, I was immediately corrected. The innkeeper asked rhetorically if I couldn't read. Are you crazy?! He seems to hate people. The landlady smiled pleasantly, but didn't say anything else. The Kaiserschmarren tasted like a ready-made mix - so it was ready quickly. It's clear, because folding in the egg whites etc. takes time. The positive thing is that you can sit in the sun and it's not overcrowded even on weekends, that's positive. Lots of young families, some with strollers (respect given the sometimes very steep climb), but no children's meals on offer.

We were at the hut today, even though it wasn't open. We sat on a bench outside and ate our snack. There was someone there to take care of the heating who was extremely friendly to us. Didn't mind that we ate our snack, even offered us to sit down to warm up and we were allowed to visit the location. We thanked you with a few cookies :) Next time we'll be happy to be there when the hut is open.
