Absolutely superb guest house in a very quiet location near to the Kurhaus. The room (14) was elegant and comfortable, with a large balcony and comfortable chairs. Inside the room was a small kitchen with Sitzbank and a separate area with lovely, comfy bed and settee. Breakfast is an absolute bargain and a great way to get to know others staying. Coffee was fabulous and the fresh fruit yoghurt, home made, was a great start too. There's also a Teestube where you can make coffee and tea, get shandy and a few other alcoholic drinks on an honesty bar basis. We slept like logs here, and despite it describing itself as a guesthouse, it would put many 4 and 5 star hotels to shame!

The guesthouse is really very nice, well maintained and clean. You can feel really comfortable and relax here. The advance reservation was friendly, quick and uncomplicated. Check-in also happens - with a previously sent code you receive your room key at the entrance. The breakfast is lovingly prepared and there is also a small garden to relax in. Free Wi-Fi is available to all guests, and the room includes a hairdryer and water. There is also a small kitchen where you can buy drinks on a trust basis (payment upon departure) and can also store some things in the fridge. The rooms are slightly different, I stayed in three different ones. I found room 1 the best. Since I was only staying for two nights, I told the maid she didn't need to do mine - she even thanked me for it. All of my rooms had a balcony, which I thought was really great. Note for those with reduced mobility: there is no elevator. And now everyone is probably wondering why I only give 2 stars. Unfortunately, this is due to the owner and her email. Before my Google review, I wrote to the guesthouse by email and gave feedback on my three stays (three weekends in a row). Here is my text:I felt very, very comfortable with you. Thanks for that. I liked it best in room 1.Everyone was always friendly, everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was also great, especially the yogurt with fruit. The only tiny criticism - the baked rolls and the lack of fresh slices of bread.Yes, I could have asked about it, but for me it's like "eat what's on the table" ;-) I also thought the small kitchen with the fridge and the range of drinks was great. I don't know if you may have seen it yet. But there are still "old" foods stored in the door of the refrigerator...presumably from guests who forgot them!?Thank you again for the great time and if we need an overnight stay in Bad Tölz again, we will get in touch. All the best to you and your team.Unfortunately, less than 30 minutes later I received a not exactly nice answer with accusations etc., which I won't publish here because it has absolutely nothing to do with my positive impression of the guesthouse. Just this much, a 4 star hotel was recommended to us for our next visit to Bad Tölz. And the only halfway nice sentence at the end was “But thank you for your positive recognition.”For me, this reaction is more than strange and sad at the same time. I also wrote back briefly to clarify the whole thing, but haven't heard anything more so far. It's a shame that the reaction was this way and we are no longer welcome as guests.

This was our third time at Pension Sibylle and we always enjoy coming here. The rooms are absolutely well maintained and each has its own charm. The hostess and all the staff are always friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is also prepared very lovingly every time, so that nothing to be desired is left unfulfilled. The guesthouse also has a really nice garden where you can sit out on the balconies in the evenings. The guesthouse is also very centrally located. In 1 minute you can reach the Kurpark and in 10-15 minutes on foot in Marktstrasse.

We stayed at Pension Sibylle for 4 nights. We can only agree with all the positive reviews 5/5. Everything just fits. The rooms are absolutely great and everything is very clean and well maintained. In addition, a very friendly hostess with friendly and courteous staff. The breakfast was very good and lovingly prepared. What we also really liked was the quiet location in a cul-de-sac directly in front of the spa park, with the spa house and reading room. And in 10-15 minutes you can walk to the beautiful market street in the old town. Parking wasn't a problem for us either; we were even able to park on the property of the guesthouse every day. We'd love to come back.

Very nice accommodation! Nice welcome, modern and cozy rooms, beautiful garden and good location. Bicycles could be stored in the garage and a tea kitchen also offers drinks in the evening. The breakfast was rather standard, but completely sufficient and the nicely prepared yoghurt was a highlight. A suggestion for improvement here might be to pay attention to less waste (no individually wrapped portions) and also to offer vegan spreads (nut butter, etc.). We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!
