Stopped into the beer garden during a hike and ate there. The trout and the tarte flambée were wonderful, and the waiter was nice and child-friendly. There is also a playground for children.

Very nice here, the food is very tasty 😋and extremely friendly staff, you rarely have that. Above all, they are competent and can therefore give very good advice. Freshly caught trout, it simply tastes delicious. Everything is very clean and hygiene is very important. We'll definitely be back. Big praise to the entire team.

Hello dear Flüder family, we were with you today with our dog and were warmly welcomed and looked after. We ate delicious fresh schnitzel and the trout at the table next door has already whetted our appetite for the next visit, always with pleasure. Thank you very much and see you next time in this beautiful Forellenhof with a great beer garden and wonderful surroundings.

On Saturday we hiked the Forellenweg in the Baybachtal and then stopped at the Forellenhof. This is how gastronomy should be: warm, attentive and top quality drinks and food. We each ate a fried trout there and the preparation was great. I have rarely eaten such great trout. A week earlier I was there with three friends and everyone was thrilled. If you are in the area near Burgen on the Moselle, you should try the trout dishes. You can tell that gastronomy professionals are at work here with heart, mind and skill!

We were completely satisfied throughout our entire stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. In addition, the in-house restaurant with its freshly prepared dishes is a real insider tip. (Especially the fried trout). We'd love to come back.

We were on the trout hiking trail from Burgen and passed the trout farm, unfortunately we had enough snack with us. So we decided to cycle again to the trout farm after we returned to the campsite. We were not disappointed, we were served very well and nicely, the trout (recommended with roasted potatoes) was very tasty, only the wine spritzers were a bit “small” ;-)

Everything fine. Enjoy your meal. Fresh trout for my wife and delicious large schnitzel for me. The roasted potatoes are as you would imagine. Crispy with a roasted aroma and not oily and overcooked like many places. Salad is always fresh and homemade. That's what you want. The ambience inside is a bit old-fashioned or rustic, but very clean. A lot has happened since the Flüder family took over. We'd love to come back if we're very hungry, because that's a must here, given the portions. We were fed up with cardboard.Price/performance 👍

We are deeply disappointed! Today, for the second time since the new owners took over, we drove forever to stop and eat here, after last time we were assured that the food was absolutely perfect except for the fish (only the fish we ordered was non-vegan). Vegan. We made the importance clear several times. However, today after a long investigation we discovered that the fish is fried in lard (beef or pork). As if that wasn't enough (after we were assured last time that everything was vegan!!), they weren't willing to fry our 3 fish in any other way, for example with the frying fat that was used for the potatoes (a mixture of palm oil, by the way - the boss had to read it yourself as the content is not known). In the end, we were simply left hungry without compromise and with an abuse of trust. Very unprofessional and definitely the last visit here.
