We visited this place twice during our stay in Treis-Karden only for a shot. We only used this bar for digestives when coming "home" from restaurant. First night I asked the guy if he had something "strong, small and local". He did not hesitate a moment to say "Oh of course, my wife!". He spoke fluent english and was very friendly.

Had a fantastic stay in this super nice motorcycle hotel. The owners, Petra and John, are super hospitable, nothing is too much for them. Upon entering we were warmly welcomed with a glass of drink. The rooms are fine, you have everything you need. Beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is quite spacious. The breakfast was just what you needed before a long day of motorcycling. And what a great location, you can go in any direction and are rewarded with beautiful views everywhere. The motorcycle shed was very nice, it is also locked at night. A hotel to definitely return to!

Nice stay, neat and clean rooms and owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic but well taken care of as you would expect.John & Petra do everything they can to make your stay pleasant and are helpful where necessary. This was our first experience with a motorcycle hotel, but we will definitely come back here again. The guests are friendly with the same passion for motorcycling as the owners themselves. In short, highly recommended for a good stay and beautiful rides in and around the Mosel.

Last week we stayed with some friends at Bike Inn with Petra and John. We loved it, the rooms, food, drinks and atmosphere. The motorcycle routes we received from John were beautiful, and riding was enjoyable, partly due to the nice weather. Petra, John, thank you!Ton, Stef, Wim, Rien, Jan and Dick.

I don't think John and Petra are looking forward to it anymore. I couldn't call the welcome warm. Because the balcony/terrace was full, we went to the back of the garden for a drink. There we were told the first of the Ten Commandments. Whether we came to get the drinks ourselves, because they didn't serve there. Whether we wanted to leave the parasol and put the chairs back in the same place. The next morning, after the buffet for breakfast (meager choice) has been prepared, John and Petra sit at the bar. The friendliness is not exactly evident and you get the feeling of being looked away.Furthermore, the rest of the 10 commandments are hanging everywhere in the hotel. Thou shalt not do this..... Thou shalt not do that....Can I say anything positive? Yes, the beds are comfortable and the routes on their site are beautiful. The Moselle area is always recommended. Bike Inn?In any case, no repeat for usEdit after owner's response:Interaction between owner and guest is impossible. But if the reception already starts with grumpiness....Your reaction is also typical, take your feedback and act on it. Good luck!Ps. I was the one with engine trouble. If I had experienced even an ounce of welcome, I might have had the courtesy to say goodbye.
