We had the best meal in Germany at this restaurant. The food was excellent, extensive wine menu, and very reasonable prices. Make sure you have your translation app is ready to go! The hotel is very clean and well organized, but I wish we had a desk and some soap for the shower.

I visited the restaurant recently with a group for a wine tasting and dinner, for a special occasion, and had a terrible experience with the lady running the place. She could not handle any kind of question (we requested to switch to an outside table as we had been placed in the back of what is essentially a garage), she then lied to us and another group about the availability of the tables outside, complained about having to disinfect tables because of covid, and was extremely rude to us. She also explicitly discriminated against the younger groups, stating to her colleague (in German) "we will not take in young guests anymore" - we are all in our 30s - while we watched her fawn over her 50+ guests! Her behaviour was completely unprofessional and made the atmosphere totally uncomfortable and awkward. On top of all this, she offered no information about the wines and the food was nothing special. We were very disappointed.

Excellent foods and wines at the restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The bedroom and the bath are very spacious and clean with a nice view of the mosel river. Very accomdating overall. I highly recommend the place.
