What a fantastic place to stay. Called late around 9 in the evening if there was still place. They fixed it for us. Really good price for the quality and standard! Amazing local home made wine and food (after the kitchen was closed!) On the border of Germany and Luxembourg. I would really recommend it, it feels like coming home!

My stay was very pleasant! I didn’t quite understand that breakfast was free for those staying there so I didn’t go 😭 but she was kind enough to give me a little bottle of wine to take with me in replacement! Very kind and accommodating staff. Don’t forget to make dinner reservations! Their food is amazing! The steak platter I had was one of the best steaks I’ve had in Europe so far. 😍 10/10 recommend. Also if you’re in the area, an hour walk from here is an amazing cidery called Ramborn. You must go!

The place is really nice and renovated. Big room and super friendly people. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. I give 4 stars because we didn't have hot water in the morning. We asked and they said normally the problem should be solved in an hour but when we left it was not the case.

Really nice and clean restaurant with a cozy in and outside area. After the order we got some home made really awesome appetizer. The champagne was great such as the wine which from we bought a bottle to take away. The food was really tasty and nicely served as well, but the most wonderful was the asparagus cream soup which was seasonal. I were satisfied with the prices also so I really recommend this restaurant and I'm sure we will go back soon.

More and more people somehow find their way to Johannishof. This is a family run restaurant, serving well presented and well prepared food. It's German cuisine when it's at its best. …
