Fresena stands out with its lovingly designed individual rooms and a breakfast that is second to none. Even if some rooms are quite small, you don't feel cramped. There is also a very nice kitchenette in some rooms. It's just a shame that there is no WiFi connection in the rooms.

A wonderful hotel in a great location. The family room was simple, the shower was either very hot or cold, but everything was clean and cozy - we felt comfortable! The breakfast was incredibly good, we looked forward to it every morning. The staff was extremely friendly and always helpful. We'd love to come back!

If you want to have an unforgettable holiday on Baltrum you should rent a room from the Ulrichs and Otto family!!! Super lovely hosts, wonderful breakfast and the Gamba evening is legendary 😍!!! We always like to come back and enjoy our time in the hotel on Baltrum!!!

We love Hotel Fresena! Preferably every year. The breakfast buffet is a real delight - lots of homemade items and very individual. Unfortunately, the intermittent fasting has to take a break 😉 And of course the legendary 🦐 Gamba Thursday 😋Our son said yesterday after returning from the beach when he saw that the hotel “only” has three stars: “I would give the Hotel Fresena five stars “He’s right – here they are! Thank you, Tina Otto and team!

Very nice hotel, the room was beautifully furnished. You can see that the operator puts heart into his hotel. The reception was also very good. We recommend!

We had booked a hotel room, but due to overbooking we were accommodated in a holiday apartment under the roof.Negative was:There was no soap.The bed wasn't particularly comfortable and was too low (homemade futon bed).The bathroom was tiny and a challenge for tall people.There was no WiFi in the accommodation.There was no room service, even though we booked and paid for a hotel.Positive was:The apartment was clean.The hosts were friendly.The breakfast buffet had a good selection and on weekends you had the opportunity to eat breakfast until 12 p.m.Conclusion:When you book and pay for a hotel, you have certain expectations for the room that were not met here.€200/night was definitely too much for this accommodation.

A beautiful family run hotel. Very friendly and nice reception upon arrival. The owners are very welcoming. Beautiful, stylish rooms that invite you to feel at home. Breakfast was great and rich. There was something for every taste.We would come back at any time because we felt so comfortable.

We weren't there as hotel guests, but just for dinner on the Gamba evening. The service was quick, despite the restaurant being full. Small discrepancies were sorted out in a friendly manner. Gambas and everything that went with them were delicious. And there was Guinness... our favorite beer. A lovely evening! We'd love to come back.
