What was outstanding for us was the great service and the very nice staff! Attentive, funny, approachable: we felt very comfortable and were helped immediately with small problems. Thank you! The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Thank you for the lovely stay!

A very pleasant place to relax and enjoy! The hotel has a very cozy, harmonious interior, the food is high quality and tasty, and the staff is friendly and attentive. This was my second time there and it certainly won't be the last time on this beautiful island. If you also like a short walk to the beach, you're in good hands.

Since the island is car-free, it is nice and quiet! A walk on designated paths through the dunes: pure relaxation, just like the sound of the sea, just be quiet and listen! More relaxation couldn't be possible!

We love our apartment on Baltrum in the Hotel Strandhof. We always come back and look forward to our stay all year round. We always have the best weather.

We have been to this hotel several times.Unfortunately, only the large Comfort rooms are recommended. The small single rooms or double rooms without a balcony are very cramped and only very simply furnished. The associated apartments next door with their sagging beds are now outdated.Unfortunately, the kitchen has also become very poor. We cautiously asked whether there were any major changes to the kitchen staff. But dealing with quiet criticism is special there and not desired.We didn't even complain, we just asked politely.It's a shame, because it was different in this house, especially the kitchen was very good.We wouldn't spend our vacation here again for the time being.

Very pleasant hotel with very nice staff. Short walk to the beach. But on the super beautiful island with its dreamy houses, the paths are short anyway and there are also long, beautiful little paths for hiking through the dune landscape and on the beach. The hotel is in a very nice location, easy to reach everything. The rooms in the hotel that we saw are newly renovated and modernly furnished.

The Strandhof is highly recommended due to its location and its facilities. We were there for 6 days and felt very comfortable. The service is very nice and helpful.We'll definitely be back!

Once again a very nice short break at the Hotel Strandhof. Due to its close proximity to the beach and shopping opportunities, the hotel has the perfect location.We had a nice apartment with a great terrace. We booked breakfast at the hotel, highly recommended. Fresh fruit, cereal, and a good selection of bread and rolls.We also really liked the hotel's own restaurant, which serves lovely seasonal dishes and of course great fish. The staff was very attentive and very friendly.We can only recommend the hotel and wish the Mennen family and the whole team a good rest of the season.We'll be back, promise ;-)

Well located, nice hotel with nice staff. Our room was a nice size, the balcony (with awning) offered a wonderful view over the Wadden Sea and the Westdorf.The distances on Baltrum are always short and so you can get to the beach and the center quite quickly from the hotel. The room offers a small refrigerator, a coffee pad machine and an electric kettle. We found the beds to be comfortable. The seating in the room was also comfortable and you could watch a film on the TV without your seat flesh suffering. If the room was 2 sqm smaller and the bathroom 2 sqm larger, I would have given it 5 stars.The furniture on the balcony is also comfortable, the only thing missing was a stool to rest your legs on.Breakfast, yes, I've seen richer buffets, but from an ecological point of view it was good. Special requests are fulfilled but are not presented blindly and later discarded because they are not consumed by the guests.Restaurant, the menu is small but nice, there is something for everyone. The dishes are fresh and finely prepared.

A wonderful hotel to relax on Baltrum. The location was perfect near the beach and shopping. I received a warm welcome at reception and was able to contact Mr. Mennen at any time with any questions or requests. The breakfast was plentiful and varied and the view was also great. My single room was very small, but nothing was missing and the bed was very comfortable. I felt comfortable and will be back.
