We have been to this campsite three times. For the last time in 2008. Had a wonderful time three times.Drove by last year to catch up on memories. I was shocked!!!What a run-down misery. So sad to see a family business being sold off. Remember, tall trees catch a lot of wind. You had a really great place! But making big money will make you broke.

Hello everyone, we two families with three children, 2x 6 years old and a 13 year old teenager, have booked a week on the site over Easter! Unfortunately, setting it up was a huge adventure - we have a height difference of half a meter on all sides of the caravan! Unfortunately, the washhouses are no longer suitable for everyday life! There is a newer one, but it's a bit further away! There are leftover food in the scullery and, well, the other rooms, you don't want to go into detail! The playground not really maintained! The basketball court isn't really nice either! The soccer field is a soccer field and okay! The mini golf course is a disaster, try to submit pictures later! We won't go to this place again!Unfortunately I couldn't upload the mini golf film, so the screenshots are a bit blurry.

Update: closed, staff laid off. The future is uncertain, but a beautiful place and a good community were sacrificed. At the moment there are half-hearted "chalets" standing around there, always two halves, and there isn't much to be seen of completion.Looks sad!Original review:We have been coming to this site as long-term campers for 12 years - after the change of operator (now EuroParks) all long-term campers were given permission on March 31st. Terminated in 2023 (see article in the local press) in order to convert the old campsite into a great luxury holiday park with chalets, tree houses, etc. Long-term camping doesn't fit into this new concept and probably doesn't bring in enough money from a business perspective. The site has a great location, very close to the Bigge in really beautiful surroundings, a campsite with potential! But things have been going steadily downhill for at least two years now, everything is increasingly falling into disrepair and no major investments have been made.Construction work is currently starting, some of the work is being done right next to guests, which is not very nice and certainly not relaxing. There is no discount for this.We miss the space and the community as it once was and will be giving up our plot in the fall.

Very friendly staff. My pitch was completely soaked due to days of rain and so I couldn't use it. No problem...I could simply choose one of the free spaces for my motorhome. The sanitary facilities at the reception are great. There are many beautiful hiking trails from the campsite. Just great.
