Actually a nice place, but:- We had paid 25 euros extra to choose a seat in advance. Visited our reserved corner spot on site (we were there with two small children, so we were specifically looking for a spot with a view of the playground), but in the meantime another parking space has been created, the mobile home occupancy of which prevented the view of the playground. Complaints at reception were met with a blank look and the comment “that hasn’t been changed on the internet yet”.- The place wasn't particularly flat, but the bigger problem was that my feet were wet when I set up the motorhome because the grass there was ankle high. Most of the places were mowed, but ours wasn't, for whatever reason.- Half the place is a construction site. Huts are being built there, just unsightly on the weekend. On Monday the excavator rolled past the mobile home at 7 a.m. sharp and then worked all day about 50m away. Not my idea of ​​a vacation. I didn't see the alleged notice on the website when I booked, and I don't see it today either.- Washrooms close at 11pm, no drama but inconvenient and unnecessary.- The (not current) park map on the internet shows a mini golf course, a basketball court and a bicycle repair shop. On the same plan, which can be printed out on site, these three systems are crossed out with black felt-tip pen. You can tell from the vegetation on the mini golf course that it hasn't just been closed since this year, which borders on fraud.- The new wash house is tidy overall, but you can clearly see the lack of maintenance: covers on the shower rails are missing, soap holder wire baskets are bent and broken (risk of injury), soap dispensers are in individual parts or missing completely. The cleanliness was generally okay, but the blood stains on the wooden bench in the men's washrooms might need to be addressed. Enough has been said here about the old washrooms; it's best not to enter them at all.- The advertised sauna is behind a locked door, as is the "leisure room", I had already lost the desire to ask the staff and preferred not to know what it looked like.All this for 43 euros per night for two adults and two children in October, we will not be returning and will avoid Europarcs in general. The only bright spot is the snack bar in the parking lot in front; we treated ourselves to the currywurst on three out of three days.

We (2 adults and two children aged 11+7) spent two weeks in the caravan on the campsite in the summer. When we arrived we were assigned a place and told that we could choose another place and they would then see if the change was possible. Everything wasn't a problem. The actual place was crooked and the exchange was completed within a few minutes. We were also immediately advised to use the sanitary facilities behind the reception. It became clear why quickly after arriving. The sanitary facilities were a few meters away but were always very clean! There were sinks inside, and there was also an adjacent cooking and lounge area for tent guests. We didn't use the indoor playground because it didn't look very clean from the outside. The playground is simple, but offers everything a child needs. Unfortunately, the soccer field was unplayable. No WiFi available.I know it all sounds very negative, BUT we had a very nice and relaxing vacation. The lady at reception and the rest of the staff were really very friendly. Despite the renovation work on the site, there was never any disturbing noise. The site is very well maintained, it was a shame that many tent holidaymakers did not dispose of their rubbish properly and this was left to the fault of the staff.The location, just above the lake and below the platform, was perfect. Attendorn is a beautiful little town in the Sauerland and really has a lot to offer. There is a lot on offer for families with children - regardless of the weather. There are plenty of shopping opportunities in town.We can recommend this place without hesitation, it offers simple camping without glamping.

Great campsite right on the Bigge. The operators and employees are super friendly. Social spaces comfortable and clean. It's very quiet at night. Nice for families and children.

The location is good, the place is a bit rocky. A kiosk that isn't actually one. The new sanitary facilities are good, but you shouldn't actually use the old ones. OK for two nights, we wouldn't stay there longer.

No WLAN

The place is nice, the location is really good. Nice and close to Biggesee. Overall, it is currently being renovated, which is why there is a modern washhouse a little further away. The other is ancient and only two toilets worked. This will definitely get better. Unfortunately, the place probably attracts party people and everyone stands mixed. The celebrants celebrated loudly until 2:30 a.m. and unfortunately didn't quiet down even after friendly requests from several guests. Unfortunately there was no staff to take care of the night's sleep... you could possibly designate different areas here so that everyone is happy and can either celebrate or just sleep (!). It's a shame... otherwise I would come back.

You can relax here, the campsite is located directly at a swimming area. Here you can, for example, try out stand-up paddling, but also just swim or lie in the sun. The sanitary facilities are very good and there is also a small kiosk. There you can get anything you may have forgotten. However, if you want to eat a portion of fries here, you're unfortunately out of luck. The (long-term) campers are also very friendly and you can quickly find a connection.
