A beautiful holiday home, transported back to another time in a fantastic location.Everything you need is there...even coffee beans and there was a delicious red wine as a welcome and lots of fresh bouquets of flowers in the house.Far away from the hectic world, you can lean back and enjoy the peace, the moment and the view.Even the children think about other things again and immerse themselves in an original world. People discover, explore, marvel, light a fire in the oven, make the kettle whistle, play cards, play hide-and-seek and badminton for hours, bake fresh bread and cook with fire. The grill is ready for use including charcoal. The beds are freshly made, there are enough towels, and you can wash and dry your laundry right in the house. This will make your vacation even more relaxing. Detergent, tabs...everything on site. There was even a small teddy bear in case the child forgot his darling at home.Infrared sauna with access directly to the beautiful garden with relaxation loungers. The surrounding area also offers a lot... hiking, swimming, cycling... museums, Plohn amusement park, the Klingenthal ski jump, summer toboggan run, the Sicilian shop in Eich, Berg und Tal, Schöneck, Plauen... there is something for everyone . The Vogtland is incredibly beautiful and mystical. Thanks for the nice time!

From start to finish, a wonderful vacation. We found the house straight away and were simply speechless with how much love this house had been prepared. You just feel good. The temperatures were very pleasant and it was nice to end the day in the infrared sauna. The sunset is indescribably beautiful and sitting outside the house and enjoying nature is pure luxury in such a short time. Thank you, dear Ms. Bender, for allowing us to be guests. We would be happy to come back.

We spent a wonderful, relaxing holiday in the "mountain hut". The weather was fantastic, so we also used the garden. The house is very cozy, the furnishings combine historical with modern. The kitchen is very well equipped and cooking was twice as much fun.The infrared cabin is highly recommended! Be sure to try it out when you're there!Ms. Bender gave us a very warm welcome. There was a short tour during which questions were answered immediately. This house is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet, nature lovers, hiking enthusiasts, families, friends or even as a couple. We will definitely come again!

As a family we had a great holiday in beautifulVogtland, especially because of the wonderful Berghütte holiday home. If you like peace and nature, like to cook with friends or family and like to be together, this is the right place for you. The “host family” is on the ball and very lovable. We were made aware of the house following a recommendation from friends and are happy to pass on this recommendation. And by the way, we had one of the hottest sunsets ever,

We had a great winter vacation. We haven't had this much snow in a long time. The mountain hut is a house of rustic and modern. It was restored with a lot of heart and furnished with many details. The kitchen was a cozy place where we always came together. Everything you needed was there. We would recommend it 100%. We would like to come again.

The eight of us spent the New Year in the mountain hut. The house has been lovingly restored in a rustic style and surprises with small details in many places. The focus of our stay was the large, cozy kitchen, which was used for eating, playing and getting together. To relax, we retreated to the four bedrooms, three of which had TVs and bathrooms. The existing Netflix subscription was very welcome and was used extensively. For the ladies who traveled with us, the infrared sauna was the highlight of the house and a free lounger was rarely available. At the end of the vacation, several spontaneous recoveries were reported. All in all, the five adults and three children really enjoyed their week-long stay in this beautiful house. We can only recommend it.

Our stay in the mountain hut in Klingenthal was very pleasant. From booking to handing over the keys, everything went smoothly - uncomplicated and quick. The house is large and tastefully and lovingly furnished - the “match” between “old” and “new” was 100% implemented very well. We were immediately enchanted by the charm of the house. The bathrooms are very modern and the kitchen is great. The booked property also includes a large outdoor area from which you can enjoy the great view of Klingenthal. The house is in a quiet location, right next to the forest. Shopping opportunities are also within easy reach. We weren't there for a vacation, but for a business photo shoot. We'll definitely be back!

We booked five nights in May 2022. This worked very quickly and easily. The owner is very nice and answered all questions quickly. There were four of us for two nights, we spent the rest as a couple. Even if you have to pay for 4 people every day, the extra charge is fair. The house is somewhat hidden and can easily be overlooked when you arrive. But the friendly property manager is quick to help over the phone. The house is in an idyllic location on the edge of Klingenthal, with only a few houses nearby. Absolute peace and relaxation is the order of the day here. Perfect for relaxing or going hiking. Bringing a dog was no problem and costs little extra. The huge garden is well maintained and great for dogs. The house itself is quite unusual and has been restored with attention to detail. In a side room you can see pictures showing the base at that time. Respect for the effort. Our impressions in detail...The kitchen was housed in the former stable and is fully equipped. A coffee machine and dishwasher provide additional convenience. From here you can also access the garden directly. Unfortunately, the kitchen is very dark and if you can't go into the garden because of bad weather, the bad light can be a bit depressing. It is also very cool, especially in the morning. A wood stove provides warmth (there are enough pellets available), but it takes a long time until the room is warm. We sat at breakfast in thick clothes. Unfortunately, the underfloor heating activated by the manager was not warm until the day of departure. On the ground floor there is another room with a small TV and wood stove. But the couch doesn't really invite you to linger. Here is a bedroom that is only unlocked for groups of 7 or more guests. There are additional bedrooms on the first floor. At first glance, everything is very tastefully decorated. Interesting features can be found everywhere. The bedroom is large and has a free-standing bathtub. Behind a wall is the bathroom and shower (unfortunately it has very little water pressure) and the toilet in a separate room. There is a steep staircase in the room that leads to another bed. Up to 4 people can sleep here. This room also has the only large TV in the house with unfortunately little space for several people in front of it. In the second bedroom there is a bed with a very hard mattress, an open bathroom and a toilet in a small room. There is a children's bed in another room. From the hallway there is a room with infrared heating chairs (we didn't use them) and a door to the garden. If you go into the garden here very early, you will sometimes come across a deer. All in all, the house is quite nice and if you don't mind a rather gloomy impression, you'll definitely like it. The reason we deducted two stars from our rating is because we complained that we were ALL very cold (seriously) and even though the property manager tried hard to please us the next day, unfortunately this was not achieved. As an intermediary between the landlord, he explained diplomatically that the heating sensor reduced the output of the heating due to the higher temperatures during the day and the landlord was of the opinion that 20 degrees in the bedroom (that was read in the evening when the house was heated up by the sun) was enough (!). Maybe, but at the same time turning down the heating at night is not appropriate. By the way, I don't understand this with hotels either; as a customer, I want to decide for myself how warm I sleep. Furthermore, even on cold days (10 degrees) it remained very cold and the heating didn't work in any room. Coupled with a bed full of (harmless) aphids every day and the advice to spray poison (in the bedroom on the bed!!!), we left a day early. It's a shame actually...Thank you for your quick response! The radiators were all completely open from day one and were closed when we left. Different light would help. LG
