Very firendly staff, great food (the Haxe is highly recommended, big portion). It all seems home made and fresh. Very tasty beer as well, professional made not your average micro brew.

What I liked> Food was amazing> Vegan Options> Homemade beer> Nice interiorWhat I did not like> Slow order and receipt of drinks (we waited around 15 min for 2 drinks)> we were there with non DE speakers and the waitress argued at the end when we notified her that she billed too much

Nice and cosy place with good beer.Unfortunately, the Thuringian food is a let down. So don’t go for the Thuringian dumplings or red cabbage. They look good, but are surprisingly tasteless and have been so for multiple visits over the last year or so.I am hoping at some timepoint these important Thuringian foods will become better. Understandably, some people will not come back, which is a shame. It is such a nice place to sit together and enjoy.

Had a twin room for one night on a trip to watch football. Beds was comfy enough, lots of brown wood. Bathroom was small, shower had decent pressure. Towels s bit in the small side. Good breakfast and friendly staff. …

Food was great and really tasty. The beer is also great and very nice interior.Unfortunately opening hours are very limited and Sunday until Thursday the kitchen closes around 20:00 and the restaurant at 21:00.On the weekends it’s 1 hour longer..Additionally, the staff was not as attentive as we would have wished for. The beer took way to long to arrive.

The beer is really good. The best beer brewed in Jena and surrounding that i could try so far. |The food was a really nice surprise. The choice on the menu is not huge but the quality of the food offered is more than satisfying. |Definitely deserves a visit.

Very nice place to stay. I was there for business, we had a drink at the bar brewery of the accommodation, very convenient. A bit off site if you are going in the city every day, but very calm and cosy. Breakfast is proposed in supplement. Maybe a bit expensive for the limited choice. Good overall impression.

We stayed one night. ||Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. Despite being close to the road there was not much traffic noise and our sleep was not disturbed. The bed was comfortable. …

Waiter was jerk. I had brought water since it was 35 degrees and wanted to stay hydrated. The waiter threatened to take my water bottle when I didn't understand him the first time. Like that was something that was actually going to happen? He was also really apathetic. One party enquired about what was in a dish and he said he didn't know and wouldn't ask about it. He also seemed genuinely annoyed that not everyone spoke German. The food was good but you can't enjoy it if you feel like you're in a place that's annoyed at your presence. But the restaurant saved €0.15 on tap water while forfeiting tips, so clearly what they're doing is working.
