A farm with active farming. It was our first time on the farm and we would do it again. The head farmer Simon is essential for feeding the calves and in the milking parlor. The senior boss Gudrun and Heiner also use their experience in the stable, as well as in the fields where farmer Heiner planted or harvested the feed (silage and corn). 60 dairy cows and their offspring look forward to the home-grown feed that is fed to them in the morning and evening.Any help in the stable or creative ideas for improving the process are always welcome here

What can I say? The kids spent the whole day in the cowshed, on the tractor, with the goats and pigs or with the really cool vehicles.For us parents it was very relaxed because we didn't have to offer the kids action every day. They had the action as soon as they opened the front door in the morning.The owners are really nice, grateful for any help and they will always help you if you have any questions.

Unfortunately, a wonderful week is already over for us today. We had a fantastic time at this farm. Our two children (7 & 11) started with the chickens at 8 a.m. We were fed and watered and eggs were collected, which we could then eat for breakfast. Then it was the turn of the goats, pigs, quails, rabbits and cows. While we, the parents, sat comfortably playing a little game or sunbathing, the children were busy all day. They played with the goats, the dog or the cats. They drove a Kettcar through the tranquil little town (~100 inhabitants) or played table tennis, badminton, basketball or football. (When they got away from the animals for a moment) the absolute highlight was when the kids took the tractor to the cowshed to help with the milking or to water the calves. Of course, there was always fresh milk there, which we enjoyed in all imaginable forms. There was also honey from our own bees.The accommodation was also very good. It was clean, more than enough space and much more modern than expected. I had WiFi in all rooms, on the balcony and in the courtyard. Not to forget the great conversations with our hosts. They patiently explained to us everything we wanted to know.It was just great! A holiday on the farm that I couldn't imagine being more beautiful.Thank you!

We were able to spend a long weekend in the “Clematis” apartment with our 20-month-old granddaughter. All expectations were exceeded! The apartment is quiet, super clean and well equipped with everything you need. Simply stress-free because you don't have to bring everything you need in the kitchen with you. The bed linen is soft like mom's :-). The Hirsch family is super nice and - despite a lot of work - always has time for a chat with the guests. The children's fleet is world class, our child was in seventh heaven! Loki was the constant companion and the little one was allowed to do whatever she wanted in complete comfort. Just accompanying us was great and stress-free for us. She will probably never forget that she was allowed to drive a tractor with Wolf! We'll definitely be back! Many thanks to the family <3

Where to start is difficult, everything is great.The apartment is great, all the equipment is available.The location is perfect, heavenly peace, little traffic.The vehicle fleet for the children is all there!A great deal for us!Thanks to Gudrun, Heinrich and Simon for their composure 😊.

We were able to spend a lovely weekend on the farm. The Hirsch family is very nice and tries to make their guests feel comfortable. The children were able to move freely around the farm and just be children. The farm dog is great. He was a loyal companion over the days ;). All in all, we had a great time with friends and the children were able to enjoy a bit of freedom. Absolute recommendation!

Heiner, Gudrun, Simon, Helga and Gerhard are super friendly, especially towards children. If you have a problem, it will be sorted out immediately. The common room is large and well equipped. The apartments are furnished with love, functional and practical. You can help out anywhere and there are animals for almost every taste.Overall just great and fully recommended!

Three years ago I was looking for a farm where our children could be up close with the animals and take part in farm life. I was able to experience vacations like this in my childhood and wanted to make this happiness possible for our children too! With the Storchenhäusle and the Hirsch family we have hit the jackpot and we look forward to the next holiday every time we say goodbye! Rarely have we had such well-kept and thoughtfully furnished holiday apartments! We really enjoyed the short vacation. Even our daughter, who is only 20 months old, had a lot of fun. The apartment was very clean and suitable for children. We felt totally comfortable and would love to come back.
