Very annoying when you find yourself in front of a closed door after a long hike, even though according to tourist information and other publications it should be open.

Beautiful little, rustic alp with a great view!Easy to get to, nice and hospitable service.Drink prices were perfectly fine, we hadn't eaten anything.

Fantastic authentic building, smooth service. There were really delicious pastries for little money. The surroundings are relaxing: clinking cows, chickens, meadows and mountains.

Nice stop with an equally beautiful view. Brotzeitplatte and Kaiserschmarrn were delicious, but as others have already mentioned, €9 for a small plate is rather expensive. The landlady was also rather grumpy and taciturn.

After a long hike we were happy that the Unt. Ochsenalpe was open and offered a fantastic view. We immediately took advantage of the “friendly self-service” 😉 and were promptly served espresso and cappuccino, and I was also given warm water straight away. The Kaiserschmarrn, which was also ordered, was to be brought.After about 10 minutes this came too. Our joy immediately gave way to speechlessness and disappointment. For 9 euros (which we initially considered “cheap”) we got a handful of Kaiserschmarrn on a dessert plate with a bowl of applesauce. The whole thing presented carelessly. If the Schmarrn had at least tasted divine, the horror of the quantity/price might have been put into perspective. But like that!!! I travel a lot in the mountains and have experienced a lot, but today was “outrageous”! Is it no longer necessary in Oberjoch? What a shame!I would like to upload a picture of the rubbish. I just don't know how!A disappointed and sad local!
