Booked and stayed for 3 people to stay. When we arrived we checked in and got our keys. Our room was very hot and did not have an air conditioner so if you do not like the heat I wouldn’t recommend. As we booked for the 3 we expected there to be a double bed and sofa bed with a sheet, duvet cover and cushion cover provided. They were not and we had to go to the front desk and ask. The lady came up and sorted it out swiftly and apologised so it was all good in the end. In the room there was no kettle or mini fridge to store drinks or make a hot tea/coffee (presumably so you go down to the bar and buy drinks. The pillows and duvets provided were of poor quality so if you don’t like soft pillows bring your own or perhaps ask. Overall, the room was clean and bathroom spotless so that was positive. The location was great and there was the lovely sound of the river to drift asleep to. There were also 2 friendly cats on the grounds. The staff were generally friendly and helpful with my broken German.

Amazing location, very quiet, renovated, nice food/drinks.Tobias had us warmly welcomed with a good sense of humour, while Franziska was a bit disappointed we have not fully followed her guidance to wait for the keys of the room.We had a lot of ladybugs as companion in the room first night, that were taken care the second day :)Warmly recommended place to stay and enjoy while wandering around

A dreamlike and delightful place, away from everyday life.Beautifully located, delicious food, great rooms and the young owner couple and their team are great 😊👍🏻Everything was really great!A brilliant place for bike travelers like me, located directly on the “Romantic Road” cycle path from Würzburg to Füssen.

It was nice here. Directly on the Tauber cycle path. Coffee and plum cake were delicious. Unfortunately I can't rate the rooms because we were only there for a short rest.

The four of us were there for dinner on a Sunday at half past 12 on our bikes. The location is really good, away from roads and right on the Taubertal cycle path. There is a small playground for children and there is lots of greenery.The choice of food is very extensive and the burgers and the sour pizza were very good. Unfortunately, only the cheese spaetzle were left in the pot for too long. This probably has something to do with the very long waiting time. Well over an hour is far too long with moderate operation. As it turned out, the kitchen always preferred simple and cheaper dishes. A strange business model. So if you want to eat here, it's best to order something simple. If the burgers hadn't been so good and the service staff so friendly, I would have only given it 3 stars.

Located directly on the Romantic Road and also directly on the Tauber. A former water mill. The rooms have been restored with a lot of commitment and love. Great, I found it inviting and comfortable. The restaurant was open during my stay, delicious food. A bicycle garage is available. It's a shame that there isn't breakfast every day. This needs to be planned.

Very nice location on the Baden-Württemberg border with Bavaria. An idyllic place to relax. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. You just feel comfortable. The food is good.

Actually a nice atmosphere for children and adults. We actually wanted to have a nice afternoon there, eat and drink something and enjoy the time. The beautiful playground for our daughter would also have been great... But(!) we left straight away after a minute! The reason for this was a terrible high-frequency whistling sound, probably from the neighboring transformer tower or a neighboring PV system and its inverter. It's incomprehensible to us how anyone can stay here for longer, stay overnight or even live?! It's a shame for the otherwise great location.

A fantastic spot of land, very beautiful and quiet location for children, simply great with a playground and there is also something for the smaller ones (slide cars and much more).The restaurant is only open from Thurs to Sun but delicious meals at a fair price. The rooms are lovingly furnished and some have a kitchen, which is simply perfect for a longer holiday and to compensate for the closed restaurant.You should note the check in times between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. as it is a small family business with 2 small children.
