The Jever Youth Hostel is a real oasis of well-being! Particularly noteworthy is the quiet location - perfect for simply switching off and enjoying the rural surroundings. Another highlight is the fantastic food: fresh, varied and prepared with love. The chef is not only talented but also extremely personable and always creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether for a school trip, a family vacation or simply a relaxing weekend – the Jever Youth Hostel is absolutely recommended!

Really nice youth hostel, highly recommended. We've been there twice and always had a small house. Enough space with bathroom. Had breakfast and dinner. Balanced and everything there and rich. You can talk to the chef if something happens. Otherwise the service is ok. Everyone is friendly. Have a nice terrace when the weather is nice. Walk to town about 15 minutes. By car about 5 minutes. There is an Aldi nearby. If you want to swim, Hooksiel is not that far. Nice beach but also nice town.

Perfect family vacation – relaxation, consideration and fantastic foodWe had the pleasure of being there from October 13th. to spend a wonderful week in the Jever Youth Hostel until October 20th, 2024 - with our two children (7 and 12 years old). As soon as we arrived we immediately felt comfortable and warmly welcomed. The youth hostel is located in a quiet, idyllic environment that is ideal for switching off and enjoying. Our bungalow was perfect for us. Not only was it cozy and very clean, but it was also located in a quiet, secluded corner - which was ideal for our youngest daughter, who is very sensitive to noise. We found it particularly nice that their needs were taken into account during meals: we were given a separate table in a quieter area, which made the stay particularly pleasant for them. We are incredibly grateful to the youth hostel team for this!We were also completely impressed by the food. We had booked full board and especially chose the vegetarian and vegan dishes - and they were simply sensational! Everything was fresh, tasty, varied and prepared with a lot of love. Our children, who are sometimes rather picky, were also thrilled. The entire team was exceptionally friendly and attentive. You could feel that every guest is important here and that individual needs are taken seriously. Our expectations were far exceeded. The Jever Youth Hostel gave us a holiday full of relaxation, peace and well-being. The quiet location, the excellent food and the consideration for our daughter made this stay a special experience. We are very grateful for this great time and will definitely come back!

We stayed at the Jever Youth Hostel as a school class and had a great time! The facility is very well maintained, clean and offers plenty of space for activities. We particularly liked the large outdoor area, which is ideal for running around and playing. The food was varied and tasty, there was always enough choice so there was something for everyone. A big compliment goes to the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and patient. They really made us feel welcome. Thank you for the lovely stay. We'd love to come back!

Booked at short notice. We were warmly welcomed. Accommodation is in bungalows, which in our case were set up as twin rooms with their own disabled-accessible bathroom. We had booked half board, which included a rich breakfast buffet and a warm dinner with the option of choosing between vegetarian food and meat. But it can be freely combined. On the last day the breakfast selection was only slightly smaller even though there were only three guests in the house. There is a games room for the smaller children, playgrounds, table football, billiards table, TV room. Tea and water from the dispenser are available free of charge 24/7. The local heated outdoor pool is right next door and it's about a 15-minute walk to the city center. Gladly again. Totally recommended.

The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Let even the littlest ones stop you in the nibbles. We would like to highlight the nice chef and the ladies at reception. …
