The reviews and photos of Landhaus Schenk were promising. Some of my usual "go to" Hindelang accommodations were unavailable during my vacation time, so I took a chance on Landhaus Schenk and was glad I did.The adherence to Bavarian style decor with modern touches was much appreciated. The interior design of my "Wohnung" and the public areas were stunning. In outfitting the rooms to provide for the guest's comfort, no detail was overlooked and the entire enironment was clean, clean, clean! It was apparent that the owners had thoughtfully considered the needs of their guests. The honor system to access drinks and the availability of washers and dryers were valued perks to staying here. The owners were friendly and hospitable while maintaining a professional stance as hosts. Prior to my arrival, I had worried about the distance of Landhaus Schenk from the interior village of Hindelang, but the walking distance was a comfortable one that I enjoyed.I can't say enough about the overall excellent experience of staying at Landhaus Schenk.. It was the best place I've stayed in my 40 years of booking Hindelang visits.

Very nice house in what we thought was a beautiful location.In the morning you always think it's raining because the Hirschbach stream goes right past the house.

Very nice, quiet apartment in which we immediately felt at home. Great furnishings with lots of wood, very nice bathroom and view of the mountains from the balcony. Good location for hiking and cycling tours.

The Landhaus Schenk is a nice place to relax. Every day started with a great view of the mountains. The accommodation was very well equipped. The Allgäu breakfast package was a good start to the holiday.From the country house you have the opportunity to start various hiking tours of moderate difficulty and, if necessary, you can quickly reach other sights by car. Gladly again.

Thank you for such a beautiful holiday apartment (“Rotspitze”), in which we felt comfortable from the start, for the constant helpfulness of the landlords (e.g. Corona test!) and the wonderful Allgäu landscape, which invited you to go on varied hikes every day. Highly recommended 😊

We spent a wonderful 10 days at the Landhaus Schenk in Bad Oberdorf. We didn't miss anything in the cozy holiday apartment "Rotspitze". A house in which you can feel completely comfortable. Many thanks to the Heppeler family, we will be happy to come back at the next opportunity!!!

There is nothing to complain about about our accommodation and everything that goes with it.Unfortunately the area around it was very poor.....(restaurant or just a snack bar etc.) Or a pub around the corner was missing here.🤔🤔
