We recently visited the “Haus am Teich” with a larger group. Unfortunately, the rooms and especially the bathrooms are long past their best. There are plenty of mildew and mold stains in the bathrooms and some of the furniture needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, the many spiders that had made themselves comfortable in the rooms and had to be taken outside by us first spoke against an immediate homely impression.The highlight of the house is undoubtedly the large ballroom, which can be booked for a separate fee. If you don't need this, you can use it to walk through (to get to the terrace) and play table tennis.Unfortunately, you have to accept that you will be involuntarily filmed by the owner.One camera is in the ballroom and another is in the entrance area.There is no reference to video surveillance either during the booking process or in the booking documents, let alone it is pointed out during handover/takeover. Anyone who doesn't want to accept this and contacts the owner will be "handled off" with the words that the cameras are there for security. However, as a tenant you cannot have a say here. Each subsequent tenant must find out for themselves whether there are additional cameras in the house (e.g. in the bathrooms, etc.).All in all, I would advise anyone not to rent this property. The landlord behaves as if he were moving in a legal vacuum in which only he decides what rights the tenants of his property have.

Attached cameras that obviously filmed our group and activities - without any prior information or consent from the operators.We felt under constant surveillance and increasingly uncomfortable. A holiday home should be a place of relaxation, but this surveillance has destroyed all comfort.Privacy is a fundamental right that has not been respected here in any way. It was also not possible to have a meaningful and targeted dialogue with the operators in this regard.I absolutely cannot recommend this house and strongly advise everyone to choose another accommodation. No one should during their stay. be monitored against his will!

We were in this house a year ago. There wasn't much to complain about. The price-performance ratio was still completely okay at this point.However, we came back this year and found that video cameras had suddenly been put up without prior agreement. After I informed the owner about this and complained in the process, I was met with complete incomprehension.The condition of the rooms has also deteriorated. Mold in almost every bathroom and an unpleasant smell adorned the rooms.Apparently the small number of staff cannot do the house justice.That was our last stay.

Getting old, beware of video surveillance that is not correct in the house, nice grill, kitchen on the 2nd floor, covered terrace, in the middle of the residential area, after “unauthorized use” of the room, it was locked and the disabled toilet on the ground floor was also uncooperative/unreasonable Landlord, rooms okay, toilet and bathrooms as well...we won't be coming back

Unfortunately, the on-site experience was marked by some negative experiences. The rooms were in good condition, but often too small for the number of beds. The operator has installed cameras that monitor some areas of the property over a large area and we were not informed of this. Furthermore, a deposit was spontaneously requested shortly before arrival, which was very unprofessional in my opinion.

I imagine a nice and relaxing stay differently. Video surveillance in the hall without prior information is questionable. Using the table tennis table in the hall is permitted, but not staying there. How this is supposed to happen purely from a logic point of view is uncertain to me. The landlord of the property also demanded a deposit of €400, which was not contractually agreed. Therefore, everyone should decide for themselves whether they should plan a stay in the property under constant surveillance.

Beautiful from the outside. BUT our room smelled awful. The curtains are probably as old as the house itself and probably haven't been washed since.The large hall is under video surveillance, which was not communicated to us before or during our stay. If you're looking for privacy, you're in the wrong place here.

Every star would be too much, contractual agreements were changed unilaterally! A deposit should be paid all at once. Violation of data protection, cameras set up without notice. Secret filming. Locked toilets and doors. The path to the terrace is just outside. Kitchen on the 2nd floor.The rooms are terrible, dirty carpets, stains on the walls, dirty curtains. Bathroom with mold stains, broken shower cubicle, disgusting shower drain. Probably won't invest for a long time.

The accommodation makes a nice impression from the outside. However, the furniture appears worn and the furnishings are rather simple. I noticed that there was a socket in the play area without child safety locks. The garden is pretty, but unfortunately full of duck droppings.Overall, the facilities, location and service do not correspond to the final price required.

The house is very nice from the outside, but all rooms need to be renovated.The bathrooms are nice and newly done.We booked an extra bed, but this was ignored and we had to pull the mattresses ourselves (better not to look at them closely) from the attic and put them on the floor! We were lucky that some people didn't come because there wasn't enough bed linen! That's absolutely possible and, above all, the price for this extra bed is absolutely outrageous. You can hardly step in the garden because there are geese droppings everywhere... I also found it very disgusting 🤢But there was enough parking space in front of the door and the nearest shop wasn't far away. You absolutely need a car to get to the swimming lake; you can't reach anything there on foot.

the pictures on the homepage are probably a bit older.... in reality it is quite worn, partly unkempt and from the last millennium.Great property with lots of possibilities, but you can't get anywhere without stepping in at least 3 duck/goose droppings.The prices are completely exorbitant for the quality offered.

We spent some really great days here with our large family (18 people). The property was ideal, especially for the 5 smaller children, but also for the seniors. It's a shame that the kitchen is at the top, but that can't be changed. The hall is the highlight and the garden with pond etc. is a wonderful oasis. There was great service, everything was well organized. We can highly recommend Haus am Teich.

We were in the house by the pond from Friday to Tuesday in a group of 16 people (children, teenagers and adults) and had the area to ourselves. You brought your own bed linen and towels.Per- Great atmosphere in an unusual house in a wonderfully quiet area- Plenty of space for everyone- Well-equipped kitchen- mattresses- Table football and table tennis in the large hall can also be used without having to book the hall separately- Nice amphitheater/fire pit with outside seating, lots of seating at all- Large gas grillCons- Surprisingly many flies in the rooms (rural location, but no livestock farming in the immediate vicinity)- Musty smell in some rooms- Relatively poor water pressure (toilet flushing)- Feel free to stock up for large groups: cutlery and pot lids for the large pots- Old furniture with some damage- Miscellaneous information about grills and fire bowls:* Relatively high extra costs, both had to be paid in advance (but can perhaps be agreed otherwise)* Fire bowl: Was booked, but was in a place where it wasn't allowed to be used (under a willow tree) and we carried it to the amphitheater. In the end it had to be dragged back under the pasture. Too bad for the next guests.* Fire barrel: Not suitable for a cozy atmosphere at the amphitheater (would have used even more wood)* Firewood: Wood provided is not sufficient or moist (tree cuttings with leaves)More information:- The water from the tap doesn't taste good, it's better to buy bottled water.- The prices on the homepage are not current.Conclusion: Despite the higher number of cons points, it is definitely recommended for larger groups with adjusted requirements. Lots of freedom. Enough excursion options for a long weekend.

Overall ok, there is a strong smell of mold in the rooms and furniture is quite dirty. The tap is broken, there is only pretty hot water and it sprays everywhere. The kitchen is under the roof and if you sit on the terrace you have to run upstairs every time.But the place itself is well designed. It is suitable for a bachelor party, but the house is not suitable for a full-fledged vacation.

A great house, huge property with wonderful corners and play opportunities.Incredible hall for playing table tennis and putting on small performances.Great living area under the roof for cooking and eating togetherAlso very suitable for bad weather.Very happy again!

We were in the house by the pond with a group of 19 people in the spring. The booking process and the introduction to the house went without any problems. We booked the entire house for 3 days and were able to move around freely. Someone was immediately available to answer any questions or problems and we made our stay as pleasant as possible. It was great to use the grill and fire! I can only recommend the house and would book it again at any time. We had a great time and thank you very much afterwards.

A great house with a huge garden. Fully equipped kitchen, living room with TV, as well as table tennis and table football. Ideal for cozy evenings in a large group. The rooms and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Helpful and friendly hosts included. Absolutely recommended!
