We were invited to a birthday breakfast and it has been a great time for us. The breakfast was warm and fresh, and has frequently been refilled and stocked up where needed. The variety and choices were good, and had an option for vegans and vegetarians too, for instance almond milk. In addition, the service was quick and attentive. Overall, we would come here again.

Yesterday we were very shocked by what happened to the café at Gut Hasport. We were invited there for coffee and cake, a total of 9 people. It was noted in advance when making the reservation that we would really like to eat the Frisian cake, but it was no longer available that day because it had already run out. The older women were very disappointed. When we got there at the scheduled time, our tables were in the blazing sun with a shade temperature of 27 degrees. We asked for the tables to be placed in the shade, which we then quickly did ourselves. We sat for over 15 minutes without anyone wanting to take an order. There were enough staff, but unfortunately not organized at all. After I went in and asked if someone would serve us, I was looked at strangely. The ambience at the lake is actually really great, but it is marred by a poorly maintained terrace. Dried plants in buckets that could have been thrown away long ago, but the parasols top everything. Verdigris, torn, worn. Just terrible, see pictures.

A hotel with a lot of charm and love, it's like feeling at home ⭐️🌟It is located next to a beautiful lake and the terrace of the hotel and restaurant is very spacious and has a huge and brand new play space for children.The breakfasts are wonderful, the salmon was delicious and you can tell that everything takes a lot of love and time. In addition, all the employees are very very nice, you can tell that it is a family hotel. Without a doubt, a place to go again and again. One of our favorites in the area. Congratulations to the team!!!

Want to celebrate your birthday with the whole family. The disappointment was great, breakfast is not recommended: there wasn't enough sausage, cheese... They had a jar of jam and that was also empty, no honey, so not worth paying 19.90 per person.
