For us, friendliness is 5 starsFood in the castle restaurant and breakfast also 5 stars.Cleanliness 4 stars.Accommodation 3.5 stars.Less than a day after the review was published, I received a call from Mr. Heyken.He wanted to hear from me what deficiencies I had identified and to rectify them immediately.That's what I call service and that's why I changed my overall rating from 4 to 5 stars.

We were super happy here.The entire property is well maintained, the rooms are really nice (with a very well-equipped kitchenette, sofa and windows in the room and bathroom), the hosts are super nice and have tips and recommendations ready if you wish.The breakfast, like everything, is lovingly prepared and nothing was missing.The staff is consistently very accommodating without being intrusive.There are sufficient parking spaces (free) at the house.WiFi is available free of charge throughout the house.The location is not in Neuharlingersiel, but a bit away in Werdum, but you can also spend the night here very well.If we're in the area, we'll definitely come back!

We have already been to the Heyken family eleven times, that certainly speaks for itself! The accommodation is very clean, the Heyken family is friendly and uncomplicated, the breakfast is rich and delicious. We always felt very comfortable. We are already looking forward to our next vacation in East Frisia.
