First check in hotel at another place where at 20.30 PM was nobody. They should make a new modern self check-in to avoid this problems. Rooms are clean and the heating work well, breakfast very good, hot water instant. The only minus are the check in 1km away and all the infos are only in german language. Inform the guest also in english because not all the clients are from Germany!

Nice quiet location near the city center. Green outdoor area with seating. Free parking space. A fee is charged for a WiFi key; the key is only accepted for one device.The rooms are clean, but they must have been cleaned a while ago as both the bedroom and the bathroom are "decorated" with cobwebs. It can't be due to the friendly staff, who are very attentive to the well-being of the guests. More likely to be a cleaning and personnel saving concept?You should arrange check-in in advance. When we arrived we stood in front of a locked door with a notice telling us to register at the “Kurmittelhaus”. Unfortunately, it was not possible to find out where this house was supposed to be. Attempted calls came to nothing. A spa center was neither in the telephone directory nor could it be found on Maps.

To check-in you have to go 800m to another spa building in town. The breakfast was good and the service was nice.

Nice, friendly rooms in a modern style.The friendly staff was only present for a limited time/breakfast time. Location a little far from the "center" of the Kurmittelhaus. Use of a car is not a disadvantage for those with foot problems.

Booked an overnight stay to visit a patient in the rehabilitation clinic. Breakfast according to the hotel category. Fresh sausage and cheese, packaged jam and honey. Fruit, yoghurt and various types of bread and rolls. All in all very neat.House and rooms perfectly clean. The only but serious point of criticism: there was a blood stain that had been washed out on my duvet. Since the reception isn't open for very long, I had to sleep with it!

The hotel has guest rooms and a dining room. Good coffee, friendly staff, everything clean. There is a clear cold buffet in the morning and evening with small differences. We bought bakery bread in the pretty greengrocer. We didn't want to drink the granulated tea in the evening, so we made our own. OK for 3 days. A little tip: Don't forget to ask for a new Wels key after 24 hours.

We stayed 2 nights, location is good and very quiet. Everything is clean.We had a "room" on the 2nd floor with a sloping ceiling and an additional shaft/eater.A longer stay in the room is hardly possible, only suitable for sleeping (bathroom is OK).We learned that all rooms (even the large ones like those shown online) have the same price. That shouldn't actually be the case! There are older regular customers who occupy the better rooms for their spa stay. We were there to enjoy the landscape and spa gardens. Bad Schmiedeberg and the surrounding area are worth seeing

If you want the Waldorf-Astoria, you have to go there. If you want a nice spa hotel with friendly service, this is the place for you. Full marks!

A very nice and quiet hotel. Staff very nice and accommodating. Food could be a little more varied. Had the same sausage and cheese every day for breakfast and dinner buffet. Otherwise it was very nice.
