We were there for 2 nights. The house is very nicely decorated, with large apartments and a sauna. The service was very friendly, the breakfast was rich. Gladly again!

We had a lovely long weekend at the Kurhaus Masserberg. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment was very stylish and practical at the same time. The beds were comfortable. The sauna area was very nicely designed. The house is very quiet between the edge of the forest and the spa park and yet so central that several restaurants are within walking distance (unfortunately the restaurants were fully booked, so we had to go to neighboring towns for dinner). If you are looking for accommodation away from the crowd, this is the place for you. LG J.+ S.P.S.: We took the aerial photo from the spa park.

We only stayed at the Kurhotel Masserberg for 1 night. Check-in is completely uncomplicated, personal contact is very friendly. Great house, very lovingly and tastefully furnished.We felt very comfortable. The location is fantastically beautiful, with a view of the spa gardens or the Thuringian Forest. Pure relaxation.

Excellent hotel, unique design of each individual apartment, very friendly, courteous staff. And if that wasn't enough, there is a sauna in the basement for guests to use. Of course there are cheaper hotels in town, but certainly none better in the surrounding area, everything is worth the price.Only the restaurant on the ground floor was closed due to a lack of staff, but breakfast is still available and very good!Thank you for the nice weekend!

Summary the evening before departure. A very nice accommodation. Furnished to match the history of the house. Sauna for use directly in the house. Quietly located on the edge of the forest, perfect for switching off. The staff was attentive and friendly, breakfast was once served by the boss 😉.There is a suitable cafe nearby (2 minutes).We hope there are enough guests for the future, we will definitely come back.

We enjoyed breakfast and dinner here while staying at the Hotel Daheim next door. Here the boss actually cooks himself. The menu is short and the food is correspondingly tasty. Each course was freshly prepared and served. It completely suited our taste. Definitely worth a recommendation!

... in the 70's as a child, in the 80's as a teenager, in the 90's as a family, in 2004 I spent the last time in the Kurhaus with an overnight stay.A wonderfully rebuilt spa house was rediscovered in 2021. Respect and admiration and thanks for the courage and determination of the builder to restore a ruin to what it once was for Masserberg.Exterior & interior designers have rebuilt a wonderful hotel. Very high quality apartment (wallpaper, furniture, lamps, electric fireplace with heat emission) everything fits. There were professionals at work here.Aunt Herta receives a dignified mention in her house and in the book 'The Kurhaus von Masserberg' by Horst Golchert.The Kurhaus's WEB page was also designed with a lot of love and background knowledge and you can read a lot about the history of the house in the history.Currently only breakfast possible, price / performance is 100%, staff very friendly. Thanks
