I stayed at Haus Fernblick for a week. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. The apartment was spacious and impeccably clean. At breakfast the hostess catered to my wishes such as fruit and vegetables. The price-performance ratio is very good. I can definitely recommend this guesthouse!

Don't book! I stayed at Haus Fernblick for one night on my Rennsteig hike. The bathroom was new and good, 1 star for that. The room smelled like it hadn't been aired for weeks. It wasn't clean, I felt very uncomfortable. The breakfast was very bad! That something like that is presented to you!! I would be ashamed at the price for the night! The coffee was the best! The rolls were spiced up again in the microwave from the third to last day, the tomatoes smelled, the liver sausage smelled moldy. The juice bottle offered had been open for at least 1 week. I couldn't complain because the homeowner didn't show up anymore and then I understood why she wanted payment in advance. I'll complain to the Masserberg tourist center and also the Rennsteig club! I have never experienced anything like this in over 20 years of business trips and hiking accommodations and it simply cannot be left uncommented. DO NOT SUPPORT AND BOOK!!!

Ms. Schmidt is a good hostess. The rooms were clean. I was surprised by the shared shower. Furthermore, a toilet for 6 guests is not appropriate. The breakfast was modest.

Very friendly landlady. Good location, very suitable as a starting point for hikes. The holiday apartment has a large, fully equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom and is ideal for family reunions or small groups. The small garden with table and seating could be used.

Every guest is welcome at Pensionswirtin Maria, hikers, short vacationers or families. Everything is clean and well-kept, the breakfast is sufficient and you can even express your wishes or quantity in a friendly conversation. I was satisfied and so was everyone who needed a quick room for one or two nights without a lot of frills. 5 stars from me

Absolutely recommended for families!We stayed in the large holiday apartment on the top floor for 10 days, the view was a dream.Everything was very clean and prepared with love. We had our own kitchen to cook, but you could also book breakfast, which was delicious and fresh. There was something for everyone. The hostess was also very friendly and gave you tips for excursion destinations.We'll definitely be back in the fall.

A very nice landlady. But it should be noted in the offers that the shower and toilet, which are located in the hallway, have to be shared. Carpeting is not bad but definitely not in a toilet. A rich breakfast is also not right. You should renovate! Children do not necessarily get a discount. Very unfortunate. However, if you like GDR nostalgia, this is the place for you.
