Hotel "Am Stern "

I was staying at this hotel for work and was fortunately able to leave a day earlier than previously planned.The hygiene is underground! And I'm definitely not picky.The bathroom was completely dirty. The fan was full of dust that was already hanging down, the shower was full of old deposits, the shower hose was broken, silicone joints were partly moldy, the trash can was filthy, there was no trash bag in it and there were stains and dirt on the tiles everywhere in the bathroom. The joints were disgustingly dirty and everything in the space between the toilet and shower was sticky and dusty.And now the kicker: When I opened the toilet lid I found leftover feces from the previous person. Just disgusting! Half of the handle of the toilet brush was also missing.When I told reception it took a few hours for a cleaner to come. The young man then “cleaned” something up a bit and wanted to whiten it for me; most of it was discoloration. What a disgrace! I then bought cleaning cloths from the discount store and did some cleaning myself.If I had been there privately, I would have left immediately!I was offered another room upon request. That was almost as bad.My room was probably renovated, but it had no bedside lamp, no closet, no hook where you could hang something up. The floor in the room unclean. There are splashes of plaster and paint or something similar all over the doors.Were the bed linen and towels unused? I don't know it...The breakfast was very spartan with a mixture of fresh and older bread rolls. Everything is very cheap to buy, I think. No scrambled eggs, bacon or anything else. A few slices of cucumber and tomatoes, a bit of cheese, jam and sausage. Quark yogurt and muesli but no fruit. The "butter" wasn't butter but cheap spreadable fat. The carpet in the breakfast room was full of stains.In front of the hotel there was a small table with two chairs and an ashtray that was overflowing. You immediately get a first impression of what it looks like inside.Appreciating the guest in a hotel looks completely different to me.

Very simple room that cannot be darkened, so not for late risers

Unfortunately the rooms are very shabby. The balcony railing was broken and the bathroom was very old and worn out.The carpet in the room has seen a lot and the breakfast was manageable.The price of €118 in a double room plus €10.90 for the measly breakfast is simply too much. The whole thing is worth around €35 ​​plus €5. The bed and bathroom were clean. The mattress, however, was a complete disaster.Unfortunately, only some of the staff were very friendly and helpful.I will NEVER stay there AGAIN.

Was there from August 17th to 19th. Had room 12. Completely renovated. Top. Breakfast was very good on all days. Very nice and helpful employee at reception and breakfast. I felt very comfortable.Will definitely come back on a festival weekend.The only point of criticism is that there are not enough parking spaces and no one is there to check out.

Ok for me as a festival visitor, but too expensive for what is offered.

Unfortunately only a “well” rating.It's a very shabby, unfortunately not clean hotel, dust, defects, stains and a lot of dirt...Plus was the completely flexible and uncomplicated check-in.

The room was good and the service was great

The hotel is getting quite old. But it will probably be renovated. But the cleanliness was much worse than the old-fashioned, worn-out furnishings. I don't even want to talk about cobwebs, stains on the carpet and upholstery, torn curtains and the bathroom.You really pay a lot of money for this, which is absolutely not justified! We definitely wouldn't come back!!

Was here for work. The hotel is unkempt. The room I had was unclean and the carpet was loose. Furniture old. Furniture full of dust no thanks. Everything dirty. The bathroom shower cubicle door was broken, the shower was full of mold. Shower head defective. How can you call something like that a hotel? For 99.- the night. Breakfast spartan
