Spacious well-decorated en-suite bedroom, excellent buffet breakfasts, hearty evening meals and good packed lunches. Friendly and flexible. Some English spoken. At the edge of the village, about 20 mins walk from the train station. Surrounded by rolling wooded countryside full of way-marked walks [maps sold in the hotel].

Honest Thuringian cuisine, without fuss, but at the highest level!Everything is freshly prepared, even the sausage specialties are made in-house. Everything was super delicious!!!!Very motivated staff, every bit of respect and appreciation that you invest gets you back twice or threefold. This is how gastronomy should work everywhere!Very, very quiet location, tidy and clean rooms, fair prices and, as already mentioned, super tasty food. Here the chef puts his heart and soul into his work!I couldn't have gotten it better, I'm sure!

Beautiful and quiet restaurant. A small menu with selected food. From starter soup to main courses made from fish or meat to dessert, everything is recommended. There is the option to sit outside or in the rustic inn. The service person Emma always served us in a friendly and courteous manner.

Great restaurant with a manageable menu and delicious dishes. Regardless of whether it was a starter, main course or dessert, we were completely satisfied. Everything was freshly prepared. A big compliment also to the service person Emma, ​​who always treated us in a friendly and courteous manner. Our dog was also immediately offered a bowl of water. Card payment is possible. It's been a long time since I've been able to experience such good cuisine. It's a bit remote but it's 100% worth the trip. Unfortunately I only have one picture of the dessert but that was another highlight of the evening and a thank you to the nice service and the great chef. If you don't visit this inn, you're missing out on something big.

I'm excited! After a long day of cycling, I stopped at this fantastic restaurant (I had made a reservation in advance). The rooms are absolutely fine and I would be warmly welcomed. The absolute highlight was the inn... I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Absolutely recommended are the "beef shreds with potato wedges" and the Kaiserschmarrn as dessert. If I didn't have to go any further tomorrow, I would stay so I could have dinner again. Chapeau!
