By chance we were able to get a free boat on the Havel for a few days. Sure, this isn't a luxury boat, but everything is well described and you have everything you need if you follow the checklist. In addition, the landlords immediately give you a pleasant, welcome feeling. If we find a boat that hasn't been booked yet on a free long weekend, we'll definitely do it again.Arriving without a car is no problem - the train station and discount store are both a few minutes' walk away.

We spent a lovely fishing weekend on the houseboat. Of course you have to take everything with you from A to Z so that you have a nice weekend. Free parking space right next to the houseboat, which means short loading/unloading times for the boat. Nice shower and toilet at the berm. We had fun and we'll be back

We were lucky enough to spend 3 nights on the Havel Cruiser at very short notice. Of course there are more luxurious houseboats with a shower and toilet. But here what you see is what you get. A kind of camping feeling on the water. The operators welcome you with a warm Brandenburg manner with a lot of humor and charisma. A short introduction and delivery were uncomplicated. It might have been a little too long for us for a week. We found 4 days and 3 nights wonderful and will ALWAYS come back! Quick note: We were 2 adults and 2 children (11 and 13). The four of us felt very comfortable on the small boat and hardly hit our heads 🤪

Never again! We had rented a houseboat several times. We cannot recommend this provider at all. On the homepage it says under advantages: “Lounge seating area made of weatherproof, stylish polyrattan on the terrace”. These can also be seen in all photos. In reality, there are only cheap plastic chairs without cushions on the terrace. The boat was handed over in a dirty condition, although you have to pay a cleaning fee. There was dust everywhere, there was a beer mat in the cabin and a cigarette butt on the terrace. The briefing was brief. Despite asking, we were not given any information about the height and depth of the boat. The heater and the reserve canister were only released upon our request. The tap in the kitchen was broken and ran as soon as you turned on the pump while driving so you could use the socket for the cool box. When billing the petrol, we were told in advance that the harbor master would determine the consumption. This did not happen. Instead, the local entrepreneur tries to bill for higher consumption without measuring precisely. When we returned it, the gentleman claimed that we had damaged the propeller. We only sailed in deep waters. Damage would have meant that we had driven the boat over it somewhere, which was not the case. During the briefing we were not shown the ship's propeller, which was probably already broken. After a long and very rude discussion on the part of the gentleman on site, the amount for the repair was deducted from our deposit and not paid out again. We asked for a bill for the insurance. We were promised that these would be sent to us. To date we have not received an invoice. We were also not issued an invoice for the other additional costs. When asked again by telephone, Mr. Ewe became very rude and refused to issue an invoice. None of this is serious and we can only warn against this provider!

The boats are of good quality and the location is nice. The briefing was short and to the point, but any questions that arose were answered well and there were no problems along the way except for one thing:The camping toilet, which I personally found to be unhygienic, was so damaged that it was unusable, which is why we always had to stop in places so that we could go to the toilet.

The nature is simply incredibly beautiful and the weather was perfect. The houseboat is very pleasantly furnished, you wouldn't believe how easy it is to get along with a single-burner gas stove. The dry toilet with plastic bags at €2.50 per use took some getting used to. We missed a few details. This includes a few more hooks for hanging things, and a good fastening of the door to the foredeck. What was most annoying was the construction site 🏗, where all the things had to be carried over and that there was neither parking nor parking space, so you had to be annoyingly photographed by residents and told that it couldn't be done that way.

All in all great. Our boat was fine so far. We were even called in advance and offered to take over the boat in the morning instead of the usual midday. We thought it was great and were happy to accept it.The only criticism is the toilet. Maybe you could think about a camping toilet here.
