There was a strange and unpleasant smell in the room. The bathroom is outside the room and is accessible via part of the hallway. This was particularly unpleasant in October when it was only 5 degrees without heating. There was also no heating in the room. So we left the room at 3:00 am and headed to the nearby BB Hotel to check in and warm up. It's really sad and unfair of the landlord. He also refused to offer breakfast on the grounds that the bakery opens late on Sundays.

We received a very friendly welcome. The room (for 4 people) was shown to us beforehand and was very clean and tidy. Here you can immediately tell that the host is renting out for fun and enjoyment and not just to make money. The location is great. You can quickly get to Europa-Park, Freiburg or Strasbourg. We were very positively surprised by the breakfast. Everything was there: coffee, tea, cocoa, eggs, several types of sausage, cheese, jam... The table was decorated with fresh flowers. We can only recommend the guest house!

A beautiful and antique guest house, with a very lovely landlord. It felt like a theme room in Europa Park.We felt very welcome and were treated to a delicious breakfast.We would love to come back because with a 15 minute drive you can quickly get to Europa Park.

Very unfriendly innkeeper!Very dirty and dusty room! It smells very unpleasant, I would even say it smells like mold!You can only shower cold, no warm water is running!The mattresses are disgusting and old!Everything just stinks!I can have breakfast outside better than there! Very disappointing!Unfortunately I have to give 1 star so that my rating can be seen, but this guesthouse deserves zero starsI definitely do not recommend this guesthouse!!!!

very unfriendly and rude innkeeper. We were exactly 10 minutes late. I had called beforehand and said that unfortunately it would be later and had already apologized on the phone. On site again, but then a tirade of abuse started, without words! So outrageous, wouldn't I realize that you would have to plan a lot more time to get out of Europa Park that it would be impossible to come that late... It was a ridiculous 10 minutes!! The good man lives in the same house! Of course I didn't know that he goes to bed at 9 p.m. Room did not correspond to the description! The toilet was in the hallway, outrageous in the description to offer rooms with shower and toilet. There wasn't even any soap in the toilet, nor in the bathroom. Absolutely not recommended, especially since the rooms are right on the street and are also very loud.

Partner stayed here twice before with family. This time alone together. A large room with enough (sitting/sleeping) space. For breakfast, two Kaiser buns with a wide choice of toppings, a glass of orange juice and a pot of coffee/tea. Had a nice stopover, the only disadvantage is that no English is spoken. This makes communication quite difficult. We did, however, brush up on our German a bit.

Disappointing. When we arrived, before we saw the accommodation, the payment was made. Due to a sudden illness of one of our kids, we had to leave early. Landlord refuses to pay back the overpaid money. Room not as pictured. Broken bed linen. If toilet paper was needed, the answer only came at 10 a.m., then you got used half rolls from previous tenants. Breakfast too small for 4 people. TV set was miniature and broken.

Advertised with shower and toilet in the room, but the toilet is in the hallway and cannot be locked, and the television is the size of a tablet. Hot water from shower takes time..was very disappointed

I recommend a very nice gentleman, the rooms are very clean and tidy, maybe a little noisy from the nearby factory, after spending 2 days I received a delicious breakfast completely free of charge, for this price I really recommend it! :)
