Polite and quick service. Possibly the most attentive service I've had in all of Europe. When not busy with other tasks, the server regularly glanced at all of her tables to see if they needed service. The menu had a nice varied selection along with multiple Vegan offerings."Die Süßkartoffel pommes und Rosenkohl waren sehr lecker."Great place to stop for a meal when exploring the adjacent ruins and hiking areas.

Second time I have been to this place. First time was for the annual fall deer meat festival. It was just phenomenal. Great tasting food. Friendly staff. Locations is rustic and authentic for such a hidden "Hof". Just incredible. If you're willing to go find it, make it happen.

We were really surprised by this idyllic place with a castle and a small waterfall.The Hofgut Rodenstein is beautifully located, with a terrace and an inviting beer garden.Here, well-prepared dishes (I could have chosen anything) are served in a casual atmosphere. But the prices were really very moderate, where can you get a delicious main course for under €20.The service was 1a with *, we felt very comfortable here with our family including small children and will be back soon.Thank you so much that there are still restaurateurs like this.

We were there for lunch and we all enjoyed it very much. It's lovely to sit on the terrace. Unfortunately the beer garden was closed due to a wedding. Friendly service, helpful.

We visited the restaurant with a group of 7 people.The location is fantastic, you can reach the restaurant and the castle above with a nice walk from Reichelsheim. The food was very tasty, the prices were reasonable, and the service was very friendly.But there is one point of criticism.We had reserved for 3 p.m., but we were there earlier, were lucky and got a table. There we saw that warm food is only available until 2:30 p.m. We were not told this when making the reservation and it is not visible on the homepage.It was only by chance that we were there earlier, otherwise we would have been very annoyed.

The restaurant is only recommended. The food was very tasty and there was also great wine with it. Someone was constantly looking after the well-being of the guests. Simply great.The rooms are bright and clean. Very good value for money.👍🏼 There is a tiny deduction for the loudly squeaky bed. But we will definitely come back!
