I was just one night here in a small tent and the overall experience was good. I liked the clean water, and friendly service, but sanitary needs some expanding. Way to few showers for such a camping site size. I'm planning to go again, but only because it's not high season.

The Schutternsee campsite impresses with its idyllic location directly on the beautiful Schutternsee, which is ideal for swimming, relaxing and water sports. The well-kept facilities and the friendly atmosphere make your stay particularly pleasant. A highlight is the See Café, where you can enjoy the view of the lake with delicious coffee and cake. Overall, an ideal place for relaxation in nature!

Unfortunately I can't rate the rooms because it's a campsite, so you bring your own room (tent or something similar). The location is great. There is a swimming lake and a fishing lake (provided you have a German fishing license and day ticket). There are created bays or shallow entrances to the lake for children. A playground, a mini golf course and a table tennis table and, brand new, a room with table football.

Very idyllic, quiet campsite by the lake. We only stayed here for 1 night while passing through. Warm welcome. Had a parking space right on the lake. Clean sanitary facilities, nice cafe on site. Will definitely come again.

Important to bring a long cable drum. If necessary, you can borrow one for an apple and an egg.Very nice campsite on 2 lakes, idyllic and well located. The highway runs along but that didn't bother us much.Friendly staff.We've been to the campsite 3 times.Each time we had different experiences. 😅1. First weekend pitch by the water (A) wonderfully quiet, nice neighbors who are seasonal campers.Quiet and relaxed.Sanitary facilities and the whole place are always clean, a bit old but OK for us.5 stars-------2. Long weekend. Place on Flodder Straße (B) 😵💫No peace, no relaxation, loud pop music that people sang along to at the top of their lungs. It seemed as if the whole street had come together for a happy binge drinking session. We were told everything about seasonal campers.This happened twice in 4 nights.Cheers 🍻🍷🍾🥂3 stars3. Holiday 1 week in mid-SeptemberArrival 10 minutes before reception closes. Everything closed. After a few calls, someone came. Not happy but not unfriendly either.On the square again by the water.The seasonal campers are dismantling and pure relaxation with a view of the lake. Ducks, grebes and cats also came by and rested on the folding chair.4 starsWe come back but only to the place by the lake. 🐝🦆🐾4 stars with a squinted eye because everything is uncomplicated at this place. Everyone does as they think. Nobody bothers. You can get used to it. 🤣

Nice, large campsite that is unfortunately on the highway that you can hear. Nevertheless, it is recommended. Facility very clean. Sufficiently large swimming lake that heats up quite quickly. Toilet and changing room available. There are also enough parking spaces. Trash cans every 50 meters. Top. There is also space for dogs. What more could people and animals want?
