Located in a very quiet bend in the road. We were going to locate the family farm from generations ago. What we found was a perfect, family run hotel that had good accommodations, fantastic food and super service. Thank you for such a special memory!

One of those delightful places to eat that we found only because we googled 'restaurants' when the Gasthaus we were staying at couldn't accommodate our group for dinner. Delicious, authentic German food reasonably priced... if my trip wasn't over, I would have gone back again.

We (2 adults) had 5 nights with half board. Our room was functionally furnished, very clean and well maintained. The only disadvantage is perhaps that there is no minibar or refrigerator in the room or on the floor. We didn't really miss it in September, but in the summer it would be an advantage to take chilled drinks with us on hikes.We liked the location of the country inn because it is very quiet and there are several hiking trails that you can go directly from the guesthouse. If you are looking for peace and nature, this is the right place for you.The food in the half board. was very plentiful, varied and tasted really good.The prices are very fair.There was nothing to complain about. On the contrary, you only have to praise the kitchen and the service.The guesthouse is highly recommended and we will be happy to come back.

We ate there and were absolutely thrilled. The food tastes very good, is priced very fairly and there are large portions to fill you up. Friendly staff and pleasant waiting times. The menu is varied but not too big or too small and there is usually a daily menu. I like to drive 30 minutes for this.

Food is good - but unfortunately it is very doubtful that in 2024 (receipt requirement?) there will still be no receipt at the table even when asked, just scribbles on the waiter's pad.
