I was taken away by this property located in two adjacent buildings in the very center of Bautzen's fairytale old town: very nice staff, well appointed room and a lavish breakfast (buffet on weekends) served at Gersdorff Palace, a three minute walk way.

Very tidy room to feel comfortable in. Apartment in a good central but still quiet location. I recommend booking breakfast.

We stayed in Apartment 101. These are not far from the hotel. The location is okay - there are no parking spaces directly on site. There are parking spaces nearby with a parking permit. The free parking lot is approximately 500 meters away. There are many stairs going down into the valley and back up on the other side.Unfortunately, the apartment is right next to the kitchen of the Italian restaurant. That's why there's a lot of noise there even during the week. You can also hear the church bells even when the windows are closed - earplugs are recommended. The apartment is very modernly furnished. It was very clean (nothing to complain about)There is a dishwasher and also a washing machine. There is an induction plate. The pan cannot be used, so please bring your own. Otherwise everything is there and in top condition. You can walk to the old town in 5 minutes. All in all a very, very nice holiday apartment, only the noise is a bit annoying.Price/performance is great. As a greeting there was a local bottle of beer, water and a Bautzen mustardCheck-in was super easy and straightforward. The lady at reception was very nice.We were very satisfied. As written above, we stayed in apartment 101. The hotel apparently has several holiday apartments in different locations.

We rented the Victoria and Caspar apartment as a family trip. Caspar in particular was really beautifully decorated. Victoria was also great, only the bathroom was a bit old but everything was very clean. Basic equipment was available and a small welcome greeting was lovingly prepared. A baby bed was organized at short notice even though they don't actually offer it at no extra charge. That was very nice. The breakfast you booked had everything you could want and what was particularly impressive was the very nice and child-friendly staff. You get very nice accommodation in the center at a fair price.

Were there for the second time (Apartment Caspar) and it was very nice again. Since we were primarily visiting friends, we almost only used the apartment to sleep, but it is in the middle of the old town and everything can be reached on foot from here. Our late arrival wasn't a problem at all, as there was a code on the mailbox. Everything was also very clean and the little touches from the landlord were really nice and made you feel welcome straight away. Thank you again for this, we will definitely come back.

We were very positively surprised, and not just by Bautzen. Since Corona was buzzing around in everyone's heads, we were about to cancel this short vacation over Pentecost. We waited and didn't regret it.The rooms are great, there is still something being built that we didn't notice. It wasn't a problem for us to walk a bit for breakfast. At the moment everything has been implemented perfectly, many thanks again to the hard-working breakfast preparers. Having breakfast in this atmosphere was great! My conclusion: I like coming here again, communication was great, everything was perfect 👍

Apartment Caspar:We spent the turn of the year 19/20 in this beautifully designed and really cozy and quiet holiday apartment. (Pictures on the website correspond to reality). It is centrally located in the beautiful old town of Bautzen. All sights can be reached on foot, such as the Old Water Art, the Sorbian Museum, the circular hiking trail, the Mustard Museum, as well as the towers and all restaurants, etc.Unfortunately there is no dishwasher in the apartment and relatively few crockery and cutlery (everything is only available in three versions). Otherwise the apartment is well equipped. The bed is big enough but the mattresses and slatted frame are very worn out and need to be replaced. There was also a bit of a lack of cleanliness (dust in the corners, hair on the carpets, dirty extractor hood, artwork on the mirror in the bathroom after fogging...).Unfortunately, a house is currently being built right next door (January 2020), so you will probably feel like you are being watched a bit in the future. There are curtains in the kitchen, but unfortunately not in the bedroom.Overall, we had a lovely stay in the Caspar holiday apartment. The price-performance ratio is good.

We were looking for accommodation with 2 separate rooms and breakfast and found the beautiful, cozy apartment Victoria in the middle of Bautzen's old town. There was a good breakfast around the corner in the Gersdorffschen Palais. The process was smooth. A microwave in the apartment would have been very practical, otherwise everything was great! Thank you for the pleasant stay.

We stayed in the Alwin apartment for 4 nights. Everything was clean and tidy. There was also a cup of Bautzner mustard to welcome you 😅 The location is excellent for taking trips into the city or the surrounding area. We would be happy to come back and choose Alwin.

Wasn't bad. Nicely furnished, like an apartment. With attention to detail. Bed quite comfortable, everything clean. Unfortunately the heaters didn't work properly and needed to be vented. And the blackout curtains don't really darken things. Otherwise everything was great and uncomplicated. Gladly again!
