I've never experienced anything so unfriendly. We were there shortly before 9 a.m. because we didn't know it didn't open until 10 a.m. We stood outside the barrier and when the owner came he said what we wanted here in a really unfriendly tone It doesn't open until 10 a.m. Ok, so we waited in front of the barrier until he wanted to open it. Suddenly he came out and shouted and told her he was still there.Then he said I don't want to see you here anymore. If you want to go fishing there you're not allowed to bring anything to drink or eat. He checks every single bag to make sure there's nothing in it. He's very unfriendly

Nice trout pond for fishing. The day we were there the fish were biting relatively poorly. It was probably due to the staffing or the day itself :-) Opening times on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. Entrance fee is €10, which can be offset against the fish caught or consumed. The tenant checks the bags upon arrival and departure. Personally, I don't think it's that great.

First of all, the information "Dannenfelser Mühle" in connection with the name "restaurant" is simply wrong: Many years / decades ago there was a very nice restaurant in the Dannenfelser Mühle with tasty food at fair prices. This restaurant no longer exists!!!Today there is a fishing pond behind the mill property with a small working hut.I would like to give every visitor good advice to check the bill, the calculated weights/quantities and the change... I certainly won't want to get upset about it on site!!!UPDATE:If a review claims that there is always enough fresh water and only healthy fish, one must unfortunately assume that this is a deliberate false statement because this unfortunately does not correspond to the reality on site!

I arranged to meet my friend at the pond, who is also an angler, but this time I couldn't because I had my one-year-old son with me. It was just a short visit. The owner asked me for €10. I asked why because I was a visitor and I shook my head. I didn't pay. He said to my little son, we'll make an exception this time, and I found that really funny. And he also wanted to check my backpack to see if I had any drinks with me, when I just said yes, I did for my little son, it came across to me as if he didn't believe me but I didn't care. Definitely won't go fishing there.

fishing pond,Open from 8 a.m., I left again at 8:25 a.m.!Nobody there, no information... 30 years ago I was there very often, the owner at the time already had 200 marks in his cash register that morning.No contact or phone on the internet, not good…A pity..

Dead fish float on the water.I have no idea how a fish can survive in such a place, it's terrifying. Maybe it would be a case for the animal welfare association. When you enter the premises you immediately recognize the stinginess of the operator, it couldn't be more run down. The operator of this place, which is on the verge of collapse, is extremely attentive and concerned when it comes to the bill, rather than his behavior and appearance in front of the guests. Prices fluctuate like the whim of the above. Sorry, but nobody really needs that

It was my first time there and I have to say it wasn't the last time, I had smoked salmon trout with homemade potato salad that was really tasty 😋. Hello, see you soon.Opening hours as far as I know only Saturday & Sunday I think

Were there to fish for a few fish in peace.It was clear that it wouldn't be easy given the conditions. However, not one bite occurred, but what was frightening was the lack of fresh water supply, which is now a real problem... It is irresponsible not to provide oxygen and fresh water at such temperatures. The impression was confirmed when I saw a dead bass floating on the bank.

I wanted to catch a trout for dinner today. So I went to Dannenfelser Mühle with my wife and two children. When we arrived the owner asked me for €20. I asked why €20, my wife doesn't fish. He then said, yes, you definitely want to make sales and eat and drink something...I then said no, I need a trout and then I'm done. He said there's nothing like that here. Why should my wife pay €10 if she just accompanies me? That's a complete rip-off. Of course I didn't pay and drove off again. I will never set foot on the premises here again. I've never experienced anything so unfriendly. I can only advise against everyone. Bags are also checked regardless of whether you are a man or a woman. Zero stars
