Anyone who likes steak will find one of the best steaks in the region here.Cooked to perfection! I rarely say something like that, but I was overwhelmed.Definitely the very best steak I have ever eaten. Kudos again to the chef! That was really first class!

Steakhouse Zum Landkrog.First of all, there is delicious food here.I found out about this restaurant through a newspaper ad and I wasn't disappointed.Since I'm a steak eater, it was clear what I was going to order, but just to be on the safe side, I didn't want to order "my" fillet steak straight away. You don't know what you're going to get.So I first ordered steak & grilled vegetables for €15.90 and my wife and two of our adult children each ordered schnitzel with fries and champions ala cream and a side salad with extra garlic roasted bread. Conclusion on the steak with grilled vegetables & garlic roasted bread:2 small steaks with a very tasty roasted aroma but unfortunately slightly over medium fried and still tender like a fillet steak and well seasoned, grade 1a.The grilled vegetables were well seasoned and seasoned with a slight hint of garlic. It included: brokoli, champions, peppers, zucchini and halved potatoes with skin. Grade 1a.There was also garlic roasted bread, crispy on top and soft on the bottom, which I liked. There was also some herb butter. With the schnitzel with fries and salad:Price €13.90The menu said pork schnitzel and when we asked, a turkey schnitzel was prepared for us. There were also delicious fries that I have never had before and they were really good. On top of the schnitzel there was champions ala cream which my wife and our older children enjoyed.Plus a real side salad with a delicious light mustard sauce and a varied selection of colorful salads including rocket. The four of us paid €73.40 for drinks, plus a little tip of courseI can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience and we will come back very soon, I promise!Rarely but here I give a full 5 stars. It was really worth driving there from Elmshorn.P.S. It's also nice in the restaurant garden

Tragedy. It's better to sleep in a car than in this "hotel". The entire facility is dirty and dark from the Middle Ages. There is no restaurant here, or there was in the times of William II. I do not recommend!

The Landkrog is a simple country hotel without much luxury. Simple, clean and super friendly. Every additional wish for breakfast was fulfilled. …

Steaks, bread, fried potatoes were awesome. The salad and carpaccio were also great. Only the walls that are too dark get a star deducted here. Otherwise everything was great including the service.

Worst thing I've experienced so far. Spiders in the bathroom, in the bedroom, the floor dirty, things from the previous person still in the bathroom. On the Internet he offers overnight stays for €35 on a craftsman's website, when you get there the room suddenly costs €52, breakfast is very modest. Conclusion: never again!!!

Floor dirty, spiders and cobwebs everywhere. A coat rack or at least hooks on the door or wall would be nice to hang up wet jackets, for example. I would have liked to have found bath towel holders in the bathroom. Unfortunately none! We were lucky that we had two chairs so we could dry the towels there. I sometimes wonder how these people set up their own four walls at home!? I can't explain why they were rated so well on Holidaycheck in 2014. In any case, I can NOT recommend the hotel!
