I (woman) travel alone by bike and was warmly welcomed here. The facility is a beautiful farm that rents rooms. There is a barn where the bike is stored securely and with countless sockets for charging the batteries. The rooms are simple, clean and have charm. Price is reasonable. I'll be back!

We drove the Weser cycle path and spent one night here. We were warmly welcomed by the Hasenjäger family and can fully recommend this accommodation/pension. When you stand in front of the main house and look at this gable, it is quite impressive. Inside the house, the hallway continues like this. The room was huge, clean, everything was great. The bathroom too.We knew beforehand that we couldn't book breakfast. But we could have used the guest kitchen, bakers and butchers are nearby. In short, everything is fine.

It's been a long time since a mechanic or motorcyclist stayed overnight several times. It's just an old farm and can therefore be described as rustic. The bathroom may be shared with the neighbor's room.Breakfast is good.A barn is available for two-wheelers.

I only give one star because I can't give less. The gentlemen promise you the best of luck just to get the guests, that is, the money from the guests, knowing that they are telling untruths. And this has been the case for three years: everywhere they advertise their rooms “with breakfast”, but since Corona, breakfast has no longer been offered there. You send the guests to the local bakery, knowing that there hasn't been breakfast there since Corona. If we had been told this honestly when we booked the room, we would not have chosen this guesthouse on the Weser cycle path for our overnight stay. We call that cheating!

My family was registered as a group and wanted to spend the whole weekend in this guesthouse or in a holiday home at the guesthouse. As a latecomer, I arrived a day later and when I found no one at the guesthouse, I contacted the owner by phone. I briefly explained that I wanted to register and would like to join my family. I was told very rudely that unfortunately she couldn't help me. Later, I learned about several incidents from my family. They were greeted very unfriendly, first it was explained what was NOT allowed and when the children drew with chalk in the yard, it was a huge problem that should be reported straight away. So there was a very tense atmosphere the whole time that we couldn't enjoy and we even skipped our last breakfast to avoid further friction in the main building.By the way, the farm itself is very nice to look at, it's just a shame that the staff lacks professionalism. The breakfast was sufficient, but nothing more. The holiday home, which is about a 10-minute walk from the guesthouse, has a small garden and courtyard where you can relax, but the rooms are sparsely furnished with colorful furniture thrown together. The bed was quite comfortable. In general, I wouldn't recommend this guesthouse because the rough tone and the resulting tensions couldn't even make the beautiful location and view of the farm enjoyable!o

In a beautiful setting, an imposing inn that is more than 200 years old. However, the room was dirty and the bedding was smelly. The owner is nice but irrelevant.

I cannot share the criticism of the lack of friendliness. We received a very warm welcome and the dog was examined first. :D Since it's an old farmhouse, there are of course some rules (don't keep the windows on the weather side open when it's wet, don't set the TV at mega volume, etc.), but I don't think that's an issue. The owner of the house loves to talk about his property and his dog experiences, which we found very interesting. The rooms were cute and the beds were comfortable and the toilets/showers were clean. The breakfast was good, in addition to coffee, bread and rolls, there was also cereal, tea, cheese, sausage, vegetables, eggs, etc. Just plain home-style. All in all, a recommended location with a lot of history and a beautiful, rustic atmosphere.

Rarely have I been received so unfriendly. A very rough tone. You feel controlled and commanded. Under no circumstances does a hospitable feeling come across. The windows have to be closed for fear of damage to the building. The owner doesn't shy away from waking up half the guesthouse at 1 a.m. at night. Better safe than sorry. You are also not allowed to park everywhere in the parking lot. You will also be asked about your daily planning. Curiosity serves parking space management. I recommend parking on the main street. Better safe than sorry. You can use the kitchen. You have to pay extra to use it; But you have to clean yourself and you are regularly checked by the landlady. Better safe than sorry. Sometimes friendliness can fall by the wayside. Conclusion: Not recommended for relaxation.

When we arrived, our dog was greeted more warmly than we were, and we were first told what we (especially children) weren't allowed to do, which made it seem like children were hardly welcome. We were staying in the guest house where the seal on the window in my room fell out and I had to put it back in so I could tilt the window. The guest house itself is nice, it has a small garden and is in a good location for getting to the savings bank quickly or taking the bike path to Hameln. I also had a tiled stove that apparently hadn't been wiped down for a long time. (I put my cap on it, which was full of dust half an hour later)We called specifically and asked if there were towels, which was answered in the affirmative. But these were so extremely small that only one child could dry themselves with them. The breakfast was good, but when it comes to the cutlery and crockery, I can only say that it was wildly thrown together, for example a knife was bent. The hosts were very unfriendly and had a very rough tone.My conclusion: I can't recommend it because you always feel unwanted and, from the hosts' point of view, you do almost everything wrong

We were now in the guesthouse over the holidays. There was no real greeting, just a “what do you want here?” It was 11 a.m. We still got our key and an announcement about what we weren't allowed to do. Grilling, for example, because otherwise the police will come because of a nuisance smell. It's a shame, there would have been a great barbecue area behind the house and it's heavily advertised on the homepage. We called a few days in advance and asked if we should bring anything with us, bed linen or towels. I was then told that it wasn't a youth hostel and that everything was there. Well..... beds were made up and 2 small towels were ready for everyone. When we asked if we could get larger towels, we were just ignored.I have to say that there were several of us, 11 adults and 4 children (3 almost teenagers and a 2 year old). 2 adults were accommodated in the main house and the rest in the guest house. Awful. Welcome is something else. Don't do this and that, don't play in the yard and stay quiet. It would have been better if he had said what was allowed. You could have remembered that better, namely, you are not allowed to do anything. The landlord talks about his 10 cars and his property but unfortunately the rooms are shabby and some of them are broken and very dirty.Breakfast was there, but ok, something else. Incredibly thin coffee and it smelled funny. Luckily we discovered the great bakery in Tündern early in the morning. Very friendly and the coffee is a dream. Conclusion: we will definitely not go to this guesthouse again and will not recommend it to others.Too expensive, very dirty and above all unfriendly. Why do you rent rooms if you don't like visitors? The guesthouse only received one star because it would otherwise not have been possible to leave a review.
