I’ve visited a restaurant only. Food was pretty good (I’ve ordered Pork Schnitzel), staff friendly, waiting times not too long but maybe I was just lucky: i didn’t have to wait to be seated; while I was eating though I saw that there is a line in front of the entrance that is barely moving. I was surprised to see so many people there because there was another restaurant nearby — to the north from this place and it was empty.

Service was great. Cake and iced coffee nice. Except you have to walk 5 kilometres on an awful walking trek in the most boring landscape of the Lüneburger Heath where the horse drawn coaches force you off the track. Cannot be reached by car.

Great restaurant in the middle of the Lüneburger Heide. Since it is in the national Park you either have to walk here or take a horse carriage but it's worth it. The dishes are super yummy, homemade, fair priced and freshly made! The cakes are awesome and the staff very friendly. Highly recommend this place. Definitely will be back.

I went to a day-journey to Lüneburger-Heide. After a long walk i wanted to get some traditional food, a Heidschnuckenbraten, known as cooked sheep. We had to wear masks, checking in on luca, corona-warn-app or a regional app and the tables get desinfected after each visitor. The food was delicious, but a little bit simple. Good to know is, most of the visitors are pensioners and the waiter is forced to be nice.

At this guesthouse there is the startimg point for horse carts that can be hired for touring the Hei. You need to have some knowledge from the German language as not much english is spoken. The tour is adjustable to your wishes and rather enjoyable.

Delicious food in big portions. The staff was very helpful: they gave us gluten free options and let us change tables without any trouble.

There is a leak near the toilet and it's very damp, that aside it is in a really great spot and although a bit shabby, still very cozy.

Good Food, made of "Heidschnucke" , a local sheeplike animal, only breed at Lüneburger Heide.
