A nice guesthouse near the Mainschleife. The rooms are modernly furnished and have everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The landlady is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is more than sufficient and there is everything you need to start the day well.A really recommendable guesthouse.

The guesthouse in Gaibach is somewhat remote and you should be mobile. The rooms are spacious and lovingly furnished. The bathroom is large and clean. There were still some points of criticism. When booking by email, a price was clearly agreed upon, but this turned out to be a single room price and we had to pay a surcharge. The landlord wanted the full amount, but we agreed on half the difference. This shouldn't happen and in my opinion we shouldn't have had to pay for it. Because the price was always visible during repeated correspondence. They could have told us in advance and not after the first night at breakfast. The breakfast was okay for our standards, but on a day where you can go to the bakery early because the shops are open, you could actually avoid baking rolls and give the guests fresh rolls. In one of our rooms the towels were a bit rotten; they were probably folded wet. The landlords were otherwise quite nice.

Admittedly, it has been quite a while since we spent a few vacations here with the Eichelmann family.Unfortunately, due to illness, we were no longer able to travel here, where we spent many a wonderful holiday.The Eichelmann family were and probably still are an unusual, lovely host family.Personally, now a widower, I have fond memories of the great breakfast.The rooms were comfortably embedded in a quiet environment.Gaibach and Stammheim had great hiking areas in which we and our two small dogs enjoyed a lot of walks!And there is an important historical monument here!The Constitutional Column in Gaibachis one of the landmarks of Lower Franconia.It is located in the castle park on the Sonnenberg hill.Volkach nearby is the counterpart to the village of Gaibach.You can get there on foot, by public transport, by bike or by hiking.It was always an incredible relaxation here and I have fond memories of the nursery's greenhouses and the friendly people there!
