I had a nice room in good surroundings. The breakfast was small but nice. I couldn't figure it out with the WiFi, I probably just overlooked the instructions. There was no TV in the room or it was in the closet that I didn't open. That didn't bother me. I arrived late and had an appointment the next day. I didn't have much time. The key was easily available via a code. The location is excellent; The location was perfect for a short walk through the old town. So I could still see a little bit.

A newly furnished guesthouse right next to the cathedral with great attention to detail with a very good breakfast, very friendly staff, a lockable bicycle cellar and a paid car parking space in the immediate vicinity. (11 € / day). As a special treat, you get a free entrance ticket to the cathedral.

We stayed there for one night, the room, bed and bathroom were nice. But for the price, the breakfast didn't have enough choice (fried eggs/scrambled eggs, salmon, cream cheese were missing) and the room was terribly small, you couldn't talk without everyone hearing it. The fact that there was no TV in the room was unfortunately a second negative point. Otherwise the staff were very nice and the location was great.

We stayed here for one night at Christmas time. Entrance fee for the cathedral included - very nice. But the breakfast room in the attic is simply too small. The climb is simply too difficult for the severely disabled. Since almost everyone wanted to have breakfast around 9 a.m., some people had to wait a long time. You felt watched and not very comfortable. Plus, everything seemed very counted out. Therefore only 3 stars.

The guesthouse is a real discovery. The building was recently renovated with a lot of effort and attention to detail. A successful mix of historical meets modern. The rooms are of a very high standard and offer plenty of space. The location is nice in the middle of the city right next to the cathedral. The team was very nice, helpful and we felt welcome. The breakfast was very tasty and a nice selection. Successful breakfast room in the attic. The price is really fair and there is even free entry to the cathedral. The only downside is that it's historically noisy and the church bells ring early. We'd love to come back.

We stayed at the hotel as a group, but arrived individually and had to deal with problems here. The first part of the group couldn't even enter the hotel because the room they had booked had already been given to other guests and it was therefore not possible to issue the keys through the machine. In another part of the group, not all of the beds were made. It was also not possible to have breakfast together as a group because the room does not have enough seats for all hotel guests. If you don't show up for breakfast until after 9 a.m., there's hardly any choice left and no more food will be served. Unfortunately, the staff at breakfast don't seem particularly friendly either, as despite the small number of guests they don't greet you and the table is only re-set upon request. Since the hotel is located right next to the cathedral, it is difficult to sleep through the night because the cathedral's bell rings every half hour. Regarding the volume, it was generally problematic because the room doors are not soundproof. As a result, hotel guests in the rooms next to the main entrance and the breakfast room are woken up and disturbed by the noises of passing guests.Unfortunately, you do not have the opportunity to select a specific room during the booking process and therefore do not have the opportunity to choose a quiet room yourself

I stayed in this beautifully restored house for one night as part of my Saale bike tour. The room and bathroom are beautiful, new and tastefully decorated. You can see the attention to detail. It's also nice that entry to Naumburg Cathedral is included in the room price. This is a noble gesture. The breakfast was a bit unsatisfactory, the offer for €12 was a bit small, and some things in terms of service and billing didn't seem to be quite right yet. Nevertheless, I decide on 5 stars and wish the Alte Bischofshof much success and good development.

I also give it a 5/5 because of the location, the furnishings and the breakfast. And still in stars because of the bicycle cellar with power connections for charging e-bikes.
