Small, secluded, quiet. Very clean facilities. Welcoming host. I arrived late night on Sunday after already being rejected on other bigger camping due to late hour. Owner welcomed me pointed place for my tent and showed facilities leaving registration and payment until morning. And yes very reasonable price. Highly recommended

Quiet place, we have been there for some weeks and only in the weekend sometimes some noice. Friendly owners. Clean and modern facilities. Plenty of hiking routes from the camping and in the surrounding. The erea is wonderfull for hikers (don't expect heavy routes, the paths are all well signed and easy walkable.) A lot of local restaurants with traditional kitchen. And the local nature cosmatics store on 200 m is worth while visiting.

Small but nice campsite. 3 short-term pitches suitable for mobile homes up to 7 m. Very nice hosts and you have the feeling of camping in your own garden. Beautiful quiet area, ideal for hiking and relaxation. Fair overnight price and new, well-maintained sanitary facilities.

Beautiful little campsite in the middle of beautiful nature. We came here as cyclists with a tent and were warmly welcomed. Campsite very quiet, everything a cyclist needs. Super nice laundry building and great barbecue area and seating area that is covered. You can also cook wonderfully here. We recommend. We say thank you!

Highly recommended with a great location and great sanitary facilities. Nice reception and in some places you even have usable WiFi. You should definitely approach the place from Maienfels (i.e. from above past the castle) and not from Brettach (even if Google suggests that). There are no shops or restaurants in the immediate vicinity, so self-sufficiency is required.

Great place, unfortunately no telephone network.WiFi is good near shower areas, not everywhere. No sounds of cars at night, just birds.Ideal place for motorcyclists, there is a garage where you can store your motorcycle.I'll definitely be back

A very quiet and beautifully situated campsite in the town of Maienfels. The owners are very friendly and helpful but they are not always present. That is why it is important to register in advance, otherwise you will find yourself in front of a closed door. The sanitary building is new and very nice. There is a small trekking field that is mainly suitable for tents. If you come with a caravan, always drive to the campsite via the small town of Brettach!

Small but nice. For large vehicles, access should be discussed with the operator; Maienfels is very winding. A well-run campsite in the middle of the countryside makes up for this. The castle towers above you and somehow you expect Little Red Riding Hood around every bend in the web. A wonderful place for a break.
