First of all, the room was overpriced 519 Euros for two rooms for one night. The rooms were dirty, the bathrooms to include sink and showers were not cleaned and had mold on it. …

We payed 135 euro for a double room with breakfast. The breakfast was okay but the view from the balcony was fantastic with the Mosel river 50 meter away. The standard of the room and bathroom was not very good. …

Now I well realize that places with great locations don't have to try as hard, but this was going too far. Only place available online last minute. 239 Euros for one night.  …

Its in a really nice spot run by a lovely friendly family - mum and son. Rooms are a bit like stepping back 25 years but are very clean. …

The view is fantastic, the owner seems to be nice but there price is astronomical for what you get. Room from the 1970s, my other halfs duvet cover had blood on it and the windows / walls are so thin, you can here every conversation going on outside (including at next door's bar).

Very well located hotel on the sunny side of Cochem with a wonderful view of the Moselle and the marina. We spent wonderful days here and were able to put our sports boat in the harbor right in front of the door and even see it from the balcony. It doesn't get any better. We would like to especially thank the son of the house, Mr. Stephan Thiemann, because he reserved the harbor space for us for our 5-day stay. He even had a parking space available for us near the hotel for our large trailer. We will always consider this hotel as our first port of call in Cochem, because you will be welcomed very well and warmly here...we are happy to recommend this hotel.

So if you think you'll find a luxury hotel here, you'll be disappointed. But EVERY room has a view of the Moselle and Cochem. The ambience is actually a bit old, but if you don't need anything fancy, you'll be completely satisfied here, just like we are/were.We would book it again.

We have never been welcomed so unfriendly. We traveled as two adults with four children. When we arrived we were told that it wouldn't suit them at all and it was only at our insistence that we even got a room, even though we had previously been confirmed on the phone that it wasn't a problem. The room itself was very old, worn out, the furnishings were from the 70s. Only the view of the Moselle was beautiful. The breakfast was a tragedy, here too we were shown how unwelcome we were there. When paying (which is only possible in cash) the room price was quite high and there was also a parking fee that we didn't know about beforehand. Conclusion: we like to travel to the Moselle often, but never to this hotel again.

The apartment hotel is old-fashioned, there are 3 floors but no elevator. If you have to go to the private parking, it is even 4 floors. Refrigerator did not work and it was 37 degrees outside. …

We were in this hotel for the first and last time. We were approached by the landlady's nice son and advised us not to look at booking com, but to ask his mother, who is responsible for the rental. We were quoted a price of €135 for a double room including breakfast. The price for the room is completely unreasonable. The room is completely outdated and does not correspond to the quality that the price promises. The room is musty and the furnishings are from the sixties. The kitchen corner in the room was covered by a roller blind. Behind it it looked completely dirty and was unusable. The room was completely outdated, long green curtains, this time from the seventies, the beds were stuffy and there was dust under the wall bed. The toilet brush felt like it was 20 years old and the tiles in the shower tray were broken. There were cobwebs on the ceiling, etc. The room was just underground.? How one comes to offer such a room at this price (even higher on booking com (€199) remains the landlady's secret. In retrospect we found it to be outrageous and bold. The room is certainly only 50. -€ the night and that's still too high. The breakfast wasn't adequate either. Coffee was too thin, no cereal, etc. Conclusion: We advise everyone not to rent a room in this house. The house and the rooms need to be completely renovated The friendliness of the son and his mother should be emphasized positively. However, one wonders how it could be that even though the landlady was so nice, you couldn't shake the feeling of being ripped off.
