Beautiful mill in a prime location. This accommodation really has everything for a good stay and more. Truly an experience to spend the night in this provincial heritage.A nice restaurant within walking distance and beautiful walking routes nearby. We had a great family weekend with 11 people. An absolute must!

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend with the eight of us. This year for the 42nd time (we have calculated) 2 thumbs in the air for each of us, so 16 thumbs.Upon arrival, there were 2 delicious bottles of red wine waiting for us.Top!!!

Nice base for all walking and cycling trips in the area. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a huge table. The "living room" is a bit less, the only sofa offers space for 1 person to relax. The bedrooms are fine and all have their own bathroom and toilet. There is a large picnic table outside, you must bring your own BBQ. Everything was clean and tidy. The downside is the very sharp gravel in the outdoor area, which cannot be used without footwear. 4.5 stars.

Beautiful spacious accommodation where we stayed with a group of friends + children. Bedrooms are not particularly spacious, but all have a shower and toilet. The seating area in front of the house is very minimal, only after strategically positioning the cars will you be somewhat shielded. What was particularly striking was the noise. A normal conversation in the living room could be followed almost verbatim in the bedrooms. If something had been done about it, the rating would have been 5 stars.

Celebrated Christmas with 6 adults and 4 children (7-13) in the Nooitgedacht flour mill. The living room is pleasantly furnished with chairs and sofas, a nice large dining table and plenty of light. The kitchen is fully equipped. The oven is large enough to bake 2 sheet pizzas side by side at a time (if there was another rack, 4 pizzas would have fit in there). There are 6 stylish double rooms on the 1st floor with good beds and a private bathroom. The mill was not accessible during Christmas, but on Friday at 1/2 1 the miller came. We had a nice chat with them for a while, the children also found it interesting and fun. There is not much to do in the village of Afferden, but you can enjoy walking in the woods. The weir and lock in the Maas are around the corner (20 minutes by bike) and you can quickly reach the other side with the ferry. Goch (DE) is a nice town 10KM away and the Duke Jan brewery in Arcen is only a 20-minute drive. With children you can go to Aquamundo in center parcs Heijderbosch. We had a very pleasant stay in the mill.
