This is a really cute hotel! The location can't be beat and makes Cochem walkable and relaxing. We got a river view room and it was awesome! We just loved waking up and looking out at the stunning view. The bed was very comfortable - great pillows too. The breakfast was delicious also. Every day we were eager to scamper downstairs and enjoy it! Lots of variety and everything offered was great - they even had lactose free milk. We also had reserved a parking space with the hotel, which I'd recommend to save stress.

Excellent location. Self check in and the confirmation code they sent did not work. Found some help and got checked in. There was rarely any staff at the check in area. The rooms varied from excellent / large to tiny / poor. Be sure you understand which exact room you will be in. My sister and husband spend all waking hours in my room since mine was twice the size of hers and much cooler (we were there in the warm summer with west facing windows). Room 48 was great with 2 windows for a cross breeze and castle view. Room 42 (my sisters) was a very poor room. Get a river view if you can.

Loved our stay here! It was like having a little apartment and it’s such a good location. Check-in was easy. I think you can check in online, but we did so on-location. We selected to stay in a Moselle River Side room, but we actually got a corner room! So we had a view of the river and the castle! The bed was literally one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in and they also had melatonin gummies. Comforter is super soft. The windows aren’t very sound proof, so you get the noise of cars and trucks during the day, but it didn’t bother me much. We didn’t have time to try to sauna or the restaurant, but they’re probably great too. Shower was great, just very small. Comes with a mini fridge, but no safe. Overall, we had an amazing time here even just for one night! Will definitely stay here again if we return to Cochem.

Great location on the Mosel River. Easy access to boats and restaurants. Be sure to get a river view room because the old town view was not much. Breakfast was very good. There is a big disparity in room sizes so ask for higher number rooms on the floor. My room #42 was 50% smaller than my sister’s room #48 for the same price 😔 I was disappointed and asked each day to switch to a different room but was told they were booked. I’d only stay here again in a river view room at the end of the hall.

The location is in the center of Cochem but we didn't hear street noise inside our room even though our room overlooked the town and river.  …

Cochem location, the hotel room, the view and breakfast is good. Also very friendly staff. We had a very nice time. Some remarks. The checkin is computerized and a bit impersonal for this hotel price category.Paid car parking only between 8h and 19h, which is max 3 hours near the hotel / city center. Near the railway station there is the only long term parking if you park in the right area, and the only electrical car charging facility: 10-15 minutes walk. Logistically doable, but a bit of a hassle.

Pretty dumpy, don't be fooled by water or castle views. If you are unlucky, which the odds are high, you will get alley views and due to the angle of the building, hot sun blasting through single window and an extra small room. A real poor experience.

We had an amazing four day stay, in a great room overlooking the Mosel. The breakfast was very good, as were the restaurant options. A great base for our visit to the Nurburgring and the wine country. We hope to return.
