The castle complex is very well maintained but the castle can only be visited by prior arrangement. This is usually not possible because school classes etc. stay here. I would like to thank you very much for the nice little tour. The view from the tower is simply breathtakingly beautiful. Idyllically located directly on the hillside, the tower offers a unique view.

On the open day, the castle ruins are accessible to everyone. For a small voluntary donation, there are guided tours, food and drink, as well as games and a scavenger hunt for the little ones. There are rooms in the castle and the facility can also be rented for events.Almost all corners can be explored. The walk up the tower offers a great view over the Moselle, castles all the way to Moselkern.

We were here for the open castle day. Great facility, the guided tours allowed you to see everything that you wouldn't otherwise be able to do. Lots of information about the castle complex, the history and the association's preservation of the castle complex. Today was organized by many friendly helpers from the club who answered all the questions and were happy to provide information. An all around successful day.

We went to the castle with friends for the weekend. The manager, also affectionately known as our damsel, is an excellent caterer. We all felt welcome straight away! The rooms are simple but still beautiful. There are enough and very clean bathrooms. The care is wonderful, the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and you also have a fantastic view over the Moselle. Overall, the castle is a real eye-catcher. There is something to discover and great views to enjoy everywhere. In the large courtyard there is enough space for grilling, playing or just being together. There are several ways to spend your free time in the surrounding area. From hiking, wagon rides and wine tastings. It was an unforgettable weekend and we would love to come back. Many thanks to our Ina for allowing us to be with you and for taking such good care of us!!

We were there spontaneously. Since no one could be reached by phone and the three of us made our way up with our wife and child, I dared to step into the courtyard. Whereupon we were rudely chased out of the yard by the resident directly after the entrance on the right. Still 2 stars because our behavior was also incorrect.

Idyllically located on the slopes of the Moselle, the Landschulheim offers an ideal starting point for numerous discovery tours. The magical charm of the castle has been very well preserved without sacrificing anything modern. Here the kids can let off some energy playing football and table tennis, but they can also spend an afternoon together playing games. The great impression is rounded off by the overwhelming view over the Moselle and its small towns.

Our group spontaneously wanted to spend a weekend on the Moselle. So first of all, a huge thank you to Mr. Bernd Smits, who made it possible for us to book at Bischofstein Castle at such short notice. The castle is in such a fantastic location - the view is simply sensational at any time of day.The food was excellent - excellent, authentic meals and everyone is still raving about the breakfast.Excellent service and super nice hosts. For us it was the perfect combination of great weather, top service and an exceptional location. We will be back definitely!

We spent a really great weekend at the castle with a group of over 20 people. The rooms are simple and very clean, as are all the other rooms. But what impressed me most, apart from the fantastic location and view, was the hospitality provided by the castle parents. The preparation for the barbecue was great, in the afternoon we had the best poppy seed cake I've ever eaten and everything was taken care of for breakfast too.Everything was there for any ball games and otherwise we passed the time with hikes and wine and sitting around the campfire in the castle courtyard. We'll be back next year and can't wait!
