Its quiet - If you know how to not get the noisy ventilation system started. The bad things: you cant pay with card and there is no staff there expect in the morning. If there is a problem you have to call them.

The first sight was terrifying. Broken tent that got too much snow in the winter. On the other hand, peeled window panes. Then the reception was terrible, the smell that greeted us was indefinable. We booked for 3 nights and left after the first. The food was just about edible. There were 4 people there, but it was very, very bad. In our opinion, the owners have given up. Since we come from the catering industry, we agreed that we didn't want to stay any longer. It's a shame, we were so looking forward to it.

It is of course true that a lot needs to be done inside and outside of the "LARCH", but that didn't spoil our stay in any way.We stayed at the "LARCH" for 6 days with half board and felt completely at home: clean room, good breakfast, hearty dinner, friendly service. Our room was clean and functionally equipped. The breakfast was plentiful, with everything your heart could desire. And for dinner there was, for example, Thuringian Rostbrätel, Thuringian bratwurst, red cabbage, schnitzel, pasta, great sauces, salad, soups and seasoned meat. All great home cooking, prepared with love! In addition: The pension owners were friendly and attentive, humorous and helpful. We were also able to go on great trips in the Thuringian Forest: Saalfeld, Meiningen, Ilmenau, etc. They were wonderful, relaxing days (despite the bad weather) in southern Thuringia! It's just like always in life: When you call into the forest, it echoes back! And by the way: The tent with the winter damage is still there because the insurance company hasn't inspected it yet (according to the information from the pension owners)

Service was very bad. You didn't see anyone all day. We received this trip as a gift. Went from 05/11/24 to 05/16/24, left on 05/14/24!!! Rooms weren't cleaned and towels weren't changed! Room and bathroom were fine! Breakfast was very good, everything you could want was there. Dinner in the evening was an imposition. It was never seasoned. You couldn't even have a coffee in between because none was prepared. It was said that there was a break. Never again in the Lerche guesthouse

We were guests at the Pension zur Lärche for 6 days, if you are looking for peace and quiet you will find it here. The rooms are very nice and clean. All the women who serve the guests here are very friendly and accommodating. It was so nice, rich, varied breakfast and good dinner. Thank you very much and we will be back and will only have good things to say back home. Your Stollberg family

In the brochure it looked more modern from the outside, but the rooms inside were the finest and freshly renovated. The service at dinner was very friendly and informative. You could always get breakfast. Of course the dog is buried in the village, but if you are looking for peace and quiet. You have to rely on a vehicle for a longer stay.

If you want to spend a little vacation in peace, then this is the right place for you. Nice service with lots of tips for tourist activities. Hiking is always possible. Dinner is well secured. And best of all: price/performance is right.

From the outside the hotel doesn't look like much and is in need of renovation. The rooms are modern and quite new.The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly.Had booked half board for a week. The meals were delicious and very filling. If you are looking for peace and quiet and like hiking, you are in good hands here. Unfortunately, the region is very dead. There is no possibility of stopping anywhere in town, so you drive to the larger towns to find something. Things don't look much better there. The region is scenically recommended.
