We stayed in this beautiful new, bright apartment for the second time, which is equipped with everything you need and in which we felt very comfortable again. The ostrich, which is about 300 m away from the apartment, is highly recommended. Delicious food, nice staff, excellent wine! Guests come from all over to be pampered here. That speaks volumes for this restaurant!From here you can go hiking wonderfully.We'd love to come back!

We were there 2 weeks ago. Very nice and hard-working waitresses. New wine was good, food was good except for the bratwursts. I would immediately fire the butcher who does this. They are an insult to this profession.There are such good ones all over the country, why do you have to sell such poor quality?This will only damage your reputation. Too bad

We happened to pass the ostrich restaurant on a cold, rainy bike ride. Oh, it was nice and warm in the garage. Very friendly, young, competent wine connoisseur who served us. Very tasty cuisine and wines.

Rustic Straußwirtschaft with very nice staff and very tasty food and drinks. Street parking spaces disappear quickly. Because of the popularity of the ostriches, it can sometimes be quite full and you may have to wait to get a seat.

We've been here several times now and have never been disappointed: great room (red kite), super nice hosts and wonderful ostrich restaurant with everything that goes with it. The surrounding area speaks for itself, all kinds of activities are possible here. And you get peace and relaxation for free.

Last week we spent a few days in the Vogel winery's holiday home in Oberbergen.We have been vacationing vacationers for more than 25 years and can therefore make a judgment.The apartments are new, very well furnished and also very well equipped. The starting point for activities such as hiking in the surrounding area or trips by car to nearby Alsace or the Black Forest are ideal!Another positive highlight is the ostrich, which is managed by the owners of the winery themselves with 💓and a lot of love. You can eat the best fried potatoes there, which are called Brägele, but everything else that is on offer is also recommended.We'll definitely be back 👍

Today we happened to pass the Ostrich in Oberbergen and were happy that we still found space. The order went very quickly...but then things got difficult. We ordered Schäufele and Flammkuchen. The Schäufele came 'already' after 45 minutes, a bit dry...and that with the prices...After 50 minutes we asked for our tarte flambée... Answer: there was a lot going on and it just took a while...Other guests who came half an hour after us were now getting their food!!! Apparently asparagus cooks faster than tarte flambée...was the answer because only 6 tarte flambées fit in the oven...After an hour our tarte flambée arrived from a completely overwhelmed service staff. At first there was no apology, then we heard something about burnt etc... that was it... we've never experienced anything like that anywhere... so please think carefully about what you order there... or it's best to go somewhere else. ...we definitely won't go there again...

The Straußwirtschaft cannot be praised enough: excellent service, great food and the best wines. Recommended: beef tongue in Madeira with Brägele, served with a Pinot Noir. Top class!
