Great overnight stay! Indeed the hotel is very close to the highway which makes it a perfect stop “on the way”. However, I’d be happy to make it our destination in the future. Quiet and interesting location with delicious local wines sold at the hotel. The food was tasty and the atmosphere down to earth and home like.I do regret that there’s no fresh fruit or self serve tea at breakfast. It is also important to note that if you book a room directly you must make a wire transfer for the full reservation in advance. No credit card accepted.

One night only, and I wish that we could stay longer. Owners very, very nice and kind, lots of smile for the guests. Breakfast delicious and our room was spacious, everything in order.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 days while on a longer hike.My double room for single use was clean and completely sufficient for one person. As soon as I arrived I was given a coffee and very tasty home-baked plum cake. In the evening a wonderfully prepared meal to fill you up.I would particularly like to emphasize the very family atmosphere. Even though the kitchen closes at 6 p.m. on Sunday and the restaurant closes at 7 p.m., I would still have had dinner at 7 p.m. after my long hike. Here you have the nice feeling of personal care. I travel to hotels very often. This behavior isnot a given! So: It couldn't be better and: Keep it up!

Great location. Close to the A4 but still very quiet. Many excursion options nearby. We had the small holiday apartment in the attic. Everything was super clean and well equipped. The owners are super friendly and have a different understanding of service. Here the whole family works with passion to ensure happiness for every guest. There is hardly any other way to put it. Special requests for the little guests were also fulfilled. The food is great, everything is homemade here. Normally you always have small points of criticism that usually don't matter much. But even that I can't say here. There is a parking lot with charging stations in the backyard. All in all a great place to vacation. We would love to come back!!!

We were there for dinner yesterday and had a wonderful evening. Lovingly selected, regional drinks. Not a huge menu, but totally delicious and there is something for everyone. What should definitely be highlighted are the all-round hospitable and super attentive owners. We felt so comfortable that “let’s go have a beer” turned into a super relaxed and cozy evening. Even with spontaneous live singing from the boss :-) Great! Please keep it up. You feel the passion and desire to “be a host”. We'd love to come back.

Well located small hotel. The rooms are very contemporary and the staff is very friendly. When you check in you are welcomed at the counter with a freshly tapped beer, very awesome after a long car journey! There are free and plentiful parking spaces in the yard. The breakfast is very varied and rich. The scrambled eggs were very well prepared! Price and performance match here.

Went to this restaurant for lunch for the first time today. The first impression was very good. Very cozy, very nice new owners. The food was absolutely great and the price-performance ratio was good. Keep it up... We will definitely be back.

After many other people's opinions, I finally wanted to see for myself. And what can I say, it's always better to test it yourself on site. WOW we were pleasantly surprised by the service, friendliness, quality, ambience and the wonderful food in very good portions. Regional, local and everything in top quality. If you think something is missing, be sure to report it to the staff. Everything is made possible within the scope of the possibilities for the guest. Where else can you find this today? Let's keep it short here. Absolutely recommended and the overnight stay and breakfast are also unique with a family touch. The clean toilets in the guest room area should also not go unmentioned.👍👍👍

It worked. But actually nothing more. We can rate rooms and service as well as breakfast.Check-in was uncomplicated. The reception wasn't overly friendly but ok. Since we had a long journey and were there with a small child, it would have been nice if we could have gotten into the room before 3 p.m. But was rejected directly and not really in a friendly way. OK. Good. The room itself was really big. The setup is easy. It's just a matter of taste. The floor covering: dark brown carpet (carpet). I don't find this very appealing. Above the bed there is a wreath of dried plants with cobwebs. Not that tasty. The one small lamp above the bed didn't work. The bathroom was very spacious. Small towels were missing. Were assembled. Didn't come. Were complained about again. Then some came. The bathroom floor was nice. The shower is 80s/90s and puny with a cheap plastic sliding wall. No shelf for shampoo/solid shower etc. No shower mat.The room was noisy, we heard the noise from the kitchen at night. That was annoying. The breakfast was certainly loving, but simple. 2 types of baked rolls. Filter coffee. 2 types of jam. But in the glass, that's great. Honey, 2 types of muesli. One should have asked whether there was a milk alternative. Scrambled eggs, sausage/cheese. Sausage and cheese were brought to the table as a mixed platter. That was actually quite nice. One should have asked whether there was an alternative to butter (quark, cottage cheese, cream cheese). I haven't. Then I ate the roll dry and only with jam.The restaurant was really nicely decorated. Very cozy and loving. If only the room had been so beautifully decorated. Then I would have agreed for the price of around 150.00 euros per night (including breakfast). So I didn't think the price was justified. We probably won't stay overnight again.WiFi in the room was really bad.Edit:The rating has nothing to do with being frustrated but rather corresponds to the fact and my feelings.By the way, it wasn't 11:20. At 11:20 a.m. we were still on the highway. And we have been to many hotels in many countries. But as I already wrote. “But good.”For me it's not about whether you can get in before 3 p.m. But let's get it across. A “hello, it’s nice that you’re here, you had a good trip, no, unfortunately that’s not possible, we’re full, etc. comes across much friendlier than “no, we don’t open until 3 p.m.”. One can hardly deny that. And everything else corresponds to subjective perception. And for me, price-performance is just not justified. But I also mentioned positive things like the really nice dining room. And if the room were so lovingly furnished, I would give the room 5*. Not like that.
