Went to the Adler for dinner on a recommendation. Nice atmosphere, well attended despite it being a weekday. Tip: Make a reservation by phone in advance. Friendly service, quick but not stressful. The overall impression is a calm atmosphere. Nice selection of dishes as we were told there were also seasonal offers. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is very good. Quality of the food is top. Requests for a special request were very politely rejected with a request for understanding. All in all, a lovely evening in a fine atmosphere.

We stopped here after a bike ride. We had a really good appetite and were seated in the next room because we hadn't reserved a table, even though there were still plenty of tables available in the dining room.The chicken schnitzels were definitely not breaded themselves, but were shaped the exact same size and tasteless. The sauce from the bag too.We won't be coming back!

We only eat at this restaurant and can't say anything about the hotel itself. The food we have ordered so far has always been good. The selection is limited, with croquettes, potatoes or fries as side dishes. Vegetables are not possible. Unfortunately for children there were only fries with schnitzel or nuggets. In general, this restaurant is anything but child-friendly and the owner himself isn't exactly friendly, but when there are children, he sometimes becomes unfriendly and complains. There is no understanding that a 1.5 year old doesn't sit quietly in a chair for 2 hours, but also runs around. It has to be said that we always made sure that when the waitress came, the children were at the side and paying attention. In addition, no plates, cutlery or anything else is provided for the small child, they are virtually non-existent and you have to specifically ask for everything (even though we ordered a children's portion of rice and salad). We have been going here often for many years, but will not eat there again in the future because of the reasons mentioned above.

The Hotel Restaurant "Zum Adler" is a family business run with a lot of love! Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms as I was only there to eat with my partner! The Hotel Restaurant is centrally located in Herscheid on the main street and is also suitable for wheelchair users!The service is very friendly and attentive and the food is very good 👍 👍! The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine! We will definitely come back!

Delicious food and very fast and friendly service! We were there with a large group, everyone received their dishes at the same time and after a really short wait! The supply of drinks also went well and, above all, always very quickly! Clear recommendation for family celebrations or dinners with a smaller number of people! Only the selection for vegetarians could be a little larger.

After many recommendations, we wanted to try the food. My husband had a steak with pepper sauce. The steak was really done well, fried pink through and through, but it didn't taste like anything. The pepper sauce was terrible, I have no idea what it tasted like. My Jägerschnitzel was huge in portion, but that too The taste was meaningless, I had the impression that the meat was not seasoned at all. This breading has a very strange taste. The only thing that was very tasty was the salad. The chef's service (?) was rather cold and the furnishings were pretty outdated.
