The hotel urgently needs to be renovated. We were there for three days and it wasn't even cleaned. The food was quite okay. The dining room staff were attentive and friendly.

The place is great, the food is excellent, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. However, it has a big disadvantage in the summer when it's hot. There are no insect nets on the windows and no air conditioners in the rooms. If you close the window at night, you cannot sleep because of the heat. If you open the windows, mosquitoes come in, buzzing around your head and drinking your blood. Definitely no sleep. Bad, especially if the next day you are planning a trip where you drive for a long time, you will be tired..

A very nice and modern hotel complex in which you can feel very comfortable! The rooms are modern and friendly furnished and the outside view extends picturesquely over wide fields! The only point that I personally didn't like is the fact that the hotel doesn't have its own reception. The guest must pick up the room key and all information at the Hotel “Zur Alten Post”, which is about 20 minutes away on foot or 5 minutes by car. Since I was on a backpack hiking tour with 9 kg of luggage and was therefore traveling on foot, everyone can imagine that this didn't spark my enthusiasm. If you have a motor, this circumstance certainly doesn't play a big role. The outdoor area of the hotel is stylish and very spacious. If the hotel is well occupied, the breakfast buffet takes place in bright, large rooms. If there is little occupancy, breakfast takes place in the Hotel “Zur Alten Post”. The only thing that really surprised me was the fact that the bottle of mineral water in the room, which almost every hotel has for their guests to refresh themselves, should be paid for at €2 at the breakfast buffet! I have never experienced this procedure before.There is a small Italian restaurant in the hotel complex that offers a fine selection of pizzas, pastas, etc. at really moderate prices!The hotel is highly recommended if you are traveling by car!

From the outside, the Hotel Middelpunkt looks more like a shopping center. The elevator is similar to one found at train stations. There are seating areas on the floors that are outdated and do not invite you to linger. The rooms are larger than you would expect from other hotels, but hygiene and cleanliness are lacking here. Various stains on the carpet, silverfish in the bathroom and darkened tile joints, which occasionally show that they were once bright. The bed linen and towels have become faded and thin due to the ravages of time. The mattress is sagging and the sofa is stained and “greasy”. The furnishings, rooms and also the breakfast room were left in the 90s.The breakfast is simple standard. Canned fruit...Even for just one night it was unacceptable.

Simple hotel, bathroom and room all clean. Great breakfast, with very friendly, courteous staff. We were there with a bicycle group and were able to easily sit in our room with 6 people in the evening. The other 2 rooms booked were smaller, but completely fine. A refrigerator in the room would have been nice, especially because there is no reception or bar in the building. You could eat in the pizzeria in the house. Also good.All in one, we would book again.
