In July 2024 we stayed with the family for a week in the Lärchenblick holiday apartment at the Ammann holiday farm. The holiday farm is located just outside Bad Hindelang in a higher valley. It's not far to Bad Hindelang, or then Sonthofen, Immenstadt or Oberstdorf and you can drive there and back on a great Seprentine road.You have to be aware that there is no local supply, you can't just go out for something to eat or go shopping. The farm is beautifully situated on the slope and you can have peace and quiet in the evenings. You also hear little or nothing from the other guests in the house.There was a lot on offer for our kids on the farm. The highlight was the large lounge on the ground floor with table football and a play area and the farm dog Leica. Our children immediately took it to their hearts.There is nothing wrong with the rooms. In our apartment we had more than enough space with 2 large bedrooms, hallway, kitchen, balcony and 2 full bathrooms. The living room and bedroom had already been furnished for a few years, but everything was in perfect working order and, above all, clean (as were the bathrooms, which were obviously not that old). The contact with Ms. Ammann was cordial at all times and she was always available to help and advise us.We felt very comfortable and could become a repeat offender should we go to Allgäu again.

It was a great vacation! The farm with some holiday apartments is run by a very nice, friendly farmer's wife. The location is ideal for people who want peace and quiet - but within a few minutes by car you are in the middle of the action (Füssen, Sonthofen, Immenstadt, Bad Hindelang, Wertach, Tannheimer Tal/Lech Tal). There are also many opportunities for children to keep busy on the farm in all weathers.We can only recommend it!

The farm is beautifully located, has a games room and a playground for the children and beautiful, spacious apartments. However, the dog and the cows here are much friendlier than the farmer's wife. If you open a cupboard in the hallway looking for a dustpan, you'll be greeted with: "The cupboard stays closed! You don't just open other people's cupboards!"She doesn't even take the time to introduce herself or say hello.If, like us, you come from a week's holiday in Salzburgerland and are used to the warm hospitality of the Austrians, you have to get used to it here.

The most beautiful holiday farm ever!We were guests for a week and are absolutely thrilled. Super clean, super friendly and a great view.The personal highlight for us was the sauna in the basement. The attention to detail and perfection is reflected everywhere. Even the rolls in the morning are lovingly packed in cloth bags.A large lounge and the large benches on the terrace invite you to linger. LGBT friendly

Our vacation was very nice again. We always feel very comfortable at Ferienhof Ammann. Everything is very clean and lovingly furnished. The furnishings of the apartments are great and nothing is missing. Ms. Ammann is always very helpful and nice. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful holiday apartment with a viewWhile looking for a nice holiday apartment, we came across Ms. Ammann's holiday apartment. The holiday apartment (Ahornblick) is sufficiently large for us as a family of three with a dog, only the bathroom/toilet could be larger and/or the door could open to the outside.There are:two hotplatesToasteregg cookerA coffee machine (powder)Fridge with freezer compartmenthairdryerTVradioToilet paper is provided and a vacuum cleaner is available for use in all apartments.Garbage must be separated (there are no garbage bags, but you can wash out the garbage cans).A baby bed can be provided (with mattress and bed linen/blanket and pillow). Unfortunately, the room cannot be completely darkened because the curtains are too thin.The sandpit should get new boards and new sand, otherwise it's just nice here for children.There is WiFi, which is partially usable, but the reception could be better/stronger.With o2 you have limited LTE reception in the house.

We had a very nice vacation there. It felt like we only took advantage of a fraction of the opportunities on site, even though we were constantly on the move.Ms. Ammann has many small animals that make children's hearts beat faster.
