Nice little hotel. The rooms are big enough, everything is clean and very well maintained. The pool, showers, etc. were also all super clean. The breakfast is very good. The staff friendly and very helpful. There's really nothing to complain about. I felt very comfortable here as a guest and can only recommend the hotel. My girlfriend and I will definitely come back.

A short stay in Bad Laer was booked at short notice for short motorcycle tours. I received a very warm welcome at the hotel, the room was spacious and well equipped. Small bathroom, everything super clean. I was allowed to park my motorcycle under the carport so it was protected from the rain. All rooms and hallways are lovingly designed. The breakfast was sufficient, everything was there for me, although I know a breakfast buffet has a richer selection of options. However, there were only a few guests there at that time. You can relax in the garden at any time. The small swimming pool invites you to swim, everything is clean. A sauna can be used upon registration. I felt very comfortable here and can only recommend this hotel

Trial days booked. We felt very comfortable and were well accommodated. Friendly staff and good cuisine, what more do you need. Well-kept gardens, swimming pool and sauna with lawn. The town and spa park can be reached on foot. Recommended.

I was in the hotel a few times. The last time was about 3 years ago. The hotel is ok, the food was good and the friendliness left a lot to be desired. The adult son of the family, who lives across the street from the hotel, always watched us very obtrusively from the windows of his house and the hotel, which was really gawking. He scared us and made us feel very uncomfortable. We raised the issue with his parents (owners), but they didn't want to listen to us and admit it.In the end we were treated badly even though he behaved very wrongly. That was harassment! Never been there again since then and not recommended!

We were there at very short notice. We received a very friendly welcome. The room and mattresses were great. Everything was clean and bright. The breakfast was very extensive and there was also a large selection of crispy rolls on Sunday. We were completely satisfied and say thank you until next time.

We stayed here for a (Kennenlern) weekend and it is wonderfully quiet, excellent breakfast and dinner. Super clean and spacious room with excellent beds and friendly staff. Nice swimming pool and sauna, highly recommended.

My mother, sister and I stayed in the hotel for 2 days to relax. We had 1 single room and a holiday apartment for my sister and I, which was within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and breakfast were perfect.However, the friendliness in the hotel is a straight 6. All 3 of us felt extremely uncomfortable, as if the landlady had confused us with people who had already been there and had bad memories of her. We have never been to the hotel and will NEVER come back.2 examples why we didn't feel comfortable:1. Arrival: We were greeted unfriendly and were told that they couldn't offer us the half board we had reserved because we had back pain and it wasn't worth cooking for 5 people. "We're going out to eat!" No wording like "It would be nice or you're welcome..." no, it was more of a commanding tone, that's how I perceived it. We were also treated as if we had been there many times before and we knew where everything was... My mother tried several times to tell her that we were there for the first time. The lady wasn't interested in that at all.2. Example: Breakfast:We sit at the table, three other tables were occupied. The 3 tables were lovingly greeted by the landlady and she asked if everything was okay and if she could bring anything else. She walked past our table and said good morning with a forced expression...When you treat yourself to a weekend to relax, you want to feel comfortable and not have a lump in your throat when you leave the room in the hope that you don't meet the unfriendly landlady.Sorry, that doesn't work at all!My mother wanted to talk to her when she left, so she hid in the office and let her employee collect the money.No, we cannot recommend the hotel and we are not picky! We would have felt comfortable without the landlady, which is a shame!If that doesn't matter to you, you're welcome to vacation there, the rest was fine. Rooms good, swimming pool cold but okay, breakfast okay!

Was there for a family celebration and felt very comfortable. And the rest of the family who came also felt very comfortable. My mother was ill and couldn't come with us at the last minute. We were very accommodating there too.

It doesn't get any better. The three of us stayed in the holiday apartment for 2 nights. Everything was fine. Very well equipped and with 70 square meters of space. You just have to know that it is on the 2nd floor without an elevator. But it wasn't a problem for us. Otherwise, both the house and the outdoor areas as well as the sauna and swimming pool are extremely well maintained. We were thrilled with the breakfast and it was more than worth the EUR 9.00. The friendly service completes the picture. We would like to thank you for the wonderful time and would be happy to recommend the Hotel Pieper-Kersten.

Wonderful and quietly located 3 star hotel. Still in the immediate vicinity of the spa park.Absolute feel-good atmosphere through a very harmonious combination of nostalgia and modernity.The cleanliness of the hotel in all areas cannot be beaten.Very nice room with a balcony and excellent mattresses in the bed.The breakfast at 9 euros is an absolute bargain.There is a wellness area which I didn't use.Highly recommended, I would book again and again!

We visited the Hotel Pieper Kerstin from September 28th to October 1st, 2023. I have to say, we had a great time at the hotel. Very, very friendly staff, the rooms we had were excellent. They were very modern, very clean, so we were able to sleep well. The breakfast and dinner were very rich and very, very tasty. Kudos here to the kitchen. The swimming pool, sauna, showers and all other rooms were very, very clean and well maintained. We even had a locked garage with electricity to charge our expensive e-bikes. Our stay at the hotel wasn't the last for us. I and my colleague can only warmly recommend the hotel.!! And to you, dear Jana... thank you very much again for the great tour through the forest that you recommended to us.Warm regards to the entire team, we felt very comfortable with you.Kind regards H. We found this highly recommended accommodation yesterday evening when we arrived in Bad Laer by bike on the Peace Route. The room was great, the breakfast was first class (great value for money), the service was very friendly. We would happily stay here again.
