Nice hostess. Great dog. Great breakfast. Unfortunately, the heaters in our rooms were turned off twice while we were away. Consequence: cold room, wet motorcycle clothes. That wasn't so nice.Maybe the room prices need to be adjusted to the increased energy costs!?Otherwise a great place for a short trip to the Harz.

The host was always friendly, the breakfast was excellent but the single room that I rented for 4 days was not appropriate for the price I had to pay. Because the room I had was a little small. When I got the billing statement, I said that I had a 100 percent disability ID and that my cow card was free. They said I didn't have my ID number in the cow slip and that it was too late I wanted to show my ID again. I had to pay the fee.

The guesthouse operator is a very nice and communicative lady. She is very concerned about the well-being of her guests. Unfortunately there was no WiFi. If you don't need luxury, you're in good hands here.

The name Jagdhütte says it all here: a guesthouse in the style of a hunting lodge from the last century. The furnishings of the rooms correspond to this style, so they are cozy and rustic. There is also nothing to complain about when it comes to cleanliness. When the weather is nice, the garden invites you to end the day comfortably with the outdoor seating provided; the accompanying drinks can be purchased in the guesthouse at a fair price. The breakfast was excellent, offers a wide selection and ensures a good start to the day.All in all, a great address for a holiday in and around St. Andreasberg, whether just for one day on a hiking holiday through the Harz or for several days. In addition, the price-performance ratio (for overnight stay with breakfast) is simply unbeatable and the operator is lovely and super friendly, so always happy! :-)

So what can you say...The rented room was rented to someone else. You got two 2-bed rooms and of course you have to pay the difference. We have medications that need to be stored in a cool place. Accordingly, we have our personal cooler bag for the medication. It was simply pulled out in our absence. Unfortunately, allergy sufferers are far from being friendly here. And so forth......Unfortunately not a bit worth recommending.

Looking for a short-term place to stay overnight and found it here. Very dedicated landlady. Rooms very rustic. Duvets are not suitable for people over 180cm as they are too short. …
